It would be much appreciated to not have to share space with the Age of Sigmar crap.

There's a topic further down the page on this same subject. I think that the consensus was that if Age of Sigmar's supposed to be a new game then it should have its own forum. Seems like it would be tidier that way, though that'd be down to the posting numbers for each game, but not sure if anything came of that (I didn't keep up on that thread). =P

For now, it's okay to post threads about WHFB in the AoS sub-forum but I think they will eventually need to go in Games Workshop Specialist & Unsupported Games.

This. Warhammer Fantasy Battles is no longer a thing.

However there is a lot of ijnfo on it, and people still want to talk about it and will for a while. Even if they like Age of Sigmar.
The thing is while some people like the new rules, many people still prefer the old fluff. AoS takes this into account with the everything ressurrected theme including separate types of elf.
This should all be separated out sooner rather than later. New sets of boards made for AoD while all you need to do is skim off the top of the fantasy forum.
Also the prposed rules subsections will need separating as various peoples work on 8.5 projects and others add depth to AoS.

n'oublie jamais - It appears I now have to highlight this again.
It is by tea alone I set my mind in motion. By the juice of the brew my thoughts aquire speed, my mind becomes strained, the strain becomes a warning. It is by tea alone I set my mind in motion. |

Again, WHFB is now an unsupported game. AoS is GW's current fantasy game. It is alright (for now) to post about WHFB in the AoS subforum (which to be clear is no longer the WHFB sub-forum) precisely because the two games share a setting and much the same player base. But, as a practical matter, almost no one seems to be posting anything about WHFB in the AoS subforum. Eventually, it will make the most sense to post anything about WHFB in the Games Workshop Specialist & Unsupported Games ... which is even right now technically the correct subforum for any edition of WHFB.
I can say it is very unlikely we will create another subforum for WHFB. There is a feeling that there are already too many as things stand. I suppose LotR/Hobbit will eventually go the same way as WHFB as the line is closing for good soon.
