So my goal is to not get crushed but not to field 4 wraithknights or scatter nonsense/jetseer

I like the look of all of these models so here goes

Guardian Battlehost

115 - Farseer
-- Spirit Stone of Anath'lan

345 - 30 Guardians 3 Warlocks
-- Eldar Missile Launcher

180 - 3 Warwalkers
-- Scatterlasers

90 - 3 Vaul's Wrath Support Battery
-- Vibro/Weaver

40 - Viper
-- Cannon

195 - Avatar of Khaine

CAD

70 - Spiritseer/Autarch

205 - Dire Avengers
-- Wave Serp
-- Scatter Laser, Cannon, Holo

205 - Dire Avengers
-- Wave Serp
-- Scatter Laser, Cannon, Holo

350 - Wrathguard
-- D-Scythe
-- Wave Serp
-- Scatter Laser, Cannon, Holo

considering trying to fit a crimson hunter. It is a fluffy list and without mass boddies the avatar isnt really worth it, a crimson hunter replacing it would most possibly do much better without 20 man guardian squads but i like the model. Removing the wraithguard would allow for a crimson hunter and dire avenger squad w/wave serp to be thrown down for more obj secured and better AA or possibly two squads of swooping hawks which frankly might be the best of both worlds. AA and anti haywire grenades

I went with the CAD for obj sec and warlocks in each squad to hopefully generate warp charges for lots of powers without dedicating to it too much. I also believe that fielding 20 guardian squads with the avatar would probably be better and maybe even a second avatar in place of that wraithguard to ensure one survives to make it matter but as I mention, I like the models/rules

So what do you think

I like it. You have plenty of firepower, lots of hull points. I would be a little concerened about your lack of anti air, I know you have 3 EML, but thats it. It seems like most peole in my area are having at least 1 flyer and nids more, in a 1500 and above.

i was literally thinking about that on my run lol. "no AA" really. I wish i could fit a fighter in the list somehow. maybe remove a WW and 2 wep platforms? eh would want the exarch too. hard to fit AA in the list

3 warwalkers on a skyfire nexus will do the trick for AA (1in6 chance per objective) it's not great but its as likely as a shot on a flyer and those hit too.

Could use rangers instead of dire avengers to fit some AA but I kinda like the obj secured on 2 decently tanky (by eldar standards) units

am I wrong in assuming the wave serp also gets obj sec? im fairly sure it does and also i dont like rangers really...

now if only GW would restock those support batterys...

The CAD looks fine up to the HQ.
A Farseer would be the better solution.

I'm not 100%, but I suspect the Farseer and Guardian prices are off. My general suggestion would be - if you're running a Warhost, stick to the Warhost! There are many benefits to their formations and you've paid the heaviest tax already.

yeh was off 40 points. ty my mistake.

So you think since Ive paid the warhost tax I may as well use things from the detachment for the 6 inch run? trying to make a more well rounded list. Ive considered dropping the CAD for (since im biel tan colors) an aspect host of fire dragons in a serp/falcon some warp spiders and swooping hawks. maybe reapers for fun

I like this list. This is a squeeze but I would drop then holofields and scatter lasers to create 45 points then one vibroncanon that is 75 points then upgrade the vypee to 2 x SCanon.

You also only spend 345 on the guardians

So that is 115 points i made u.

Buy a squad of swoping hawks for the anti air. 6 hawks including exarch is 106

ive never failed this hard at math. not sure where im getting these numbers rofl tyvm.

considering dropping the wraithguard as well as the scatters in favor of aspects.... warp spiders hawks and the one dire avenger squad for a falcon with fire dragons or serp/fire dragons and maybe a crimson hunter. wraithguard just are so expensive and easy to kill. also the vibro cannons becoming AP 2 is kinda a big deal no? 2 is far less powerful. if i drop the wraithguard I can buff up the guardian squads a bit maybe and add some better AA and some anti armor as i feel i have plenty of anti infantry
