Just signed up! This is my first GT and its nearby! Can't wait!

Any update on missions, restrictions, etc? May have missed it, trying to decide what to do event/army wise.

Bobby will be posting this week Eric,

Only changes we have are the allowance of the 0-1 (MODEL) Wraithknight/ Imperial Knight per army. No other superheavies/Garg Creatures allowed. No more than 1 Model per army. Nova List Building Rules will apply to utilize These Models. Nova D Weapon changes will effect these Models.

Bob will be posting what 3 Nova Missions will be in play at the BFS for 64 players.

A group of us from Pittsburgh are planning to attend this year as well. We do 3-4 GT's a year and thought this sounded fun!

I'm sure it is too late to suggest, but was any discussion given to running Dropzone Commander, or Kings of War events?

The later of which I could help with, and probably secure Mantic official support for.

At this point yea.. unfortunately it would be a little late to get events going for those games. Hoever we are always open to trying some new games out. I know we have a couple of guys in the club who dabble a bit in Dropzone Commander.

Big fan of the packet; based upon NOVA results and feedback, I think adding in the hard-capped 0-1 WK/IK is a good idea. /thumbsup

This is a fun way to spend Friday night if you get in early. Throw down for some fun and then meet up after at the Yardhouse Pub at the Mall.

I will be hosting the skirmish event this year, if anyone has questions they can contact me here on Dakka as well. Also working on a narrative event but that's not quite up yet... anyone interested please contact me!

So we are 2 weeks away from BFS #6 !. We still have spots open for 40K GT, X-Wing and the 2 day Malifaux GT. If your considering coming.. sign up ! Tons of Prize support and Awsome Trophies as well as the coveted Bishop Slayer Sword !

This year we will also be giving out Custom Trophies for Best Ranking Armies: So even if you Don't win the Tournament Master, BattleMaster , RenMan or Bracket Champion.. you still might win best army depending on what army you bring.

*Your Army will be placed into its Codex by the Majority percentage of army points dedicated to a particular Codex. Not by Primary or Warlord choice.

How does the X-wing attendance look?

We have about a dozen signed up and I know we
Have a bunch of club members who will be attending x wing as well.

Torn between 40K and X-Wing... will therr be opportunities/interest in open play or Epic X-Wing on Sunday?

I'd be interested in playing X-wing Sunday, especially if Saturday goes poorly and the wife and I wash out without feeling particularly successful. :-p

The X-Wing Tournament is only on Saturday. However on Sunday you will be playing in your bracket. However don't forget even if you lose in your bracket you can still continue to play for Renman which requires 5 games or Battlemaster (Battle points champion- 6 games) or Best army. However if you still want to drop. We are going to have a Narrative game running that will allow players to join in during the day. The Narrative will be free for players who attend the GT. The Narrative will however have limited spots open. But it will be available. We will also leave tables up for casual gaming as well.

I will be running the narrative event, It will be a large Imperium vs. Chaos game, at the moment I think we have room for six players but it may expand at the last minute or people may not show up. Same restrictions on lists apply as in the GT (aside from points costs), but experimental forgeworld rules, superheavies and lords of war are not a problem, but I would appreciate if you sent me your list beforehand! You can also make up a list for a rough idea of points, but depending on the players involved, terrain and other factors, we won't be totalling up the points anyway for either side, you can basically bring your (painted) toys and put them on the table the way you like.

- As we have done in past years we have enough tables to accomodate walk ins so if your on the fence feel free to show up on saturday morning and bring a friend as well.

- Also dont forget about the friday night skirmish game...lots of fun and fast games with some prizes as well. Great way to spend a friday night.

I might be up for a game of Epic or something on Sunday. I am still undecided about which set of toy soldiers I am going to break out for Saturday.

There will be plenty of room for open gaming Friday and sunday so pick your poison.
