I want to make a model of Malerion since he is Malekith fused with his dragon, would he look more like a dragon or just a giant shadow being?
Any tips or ideas?

now I just want to point out that nothing is confirmed as of yet but I am pretty sure the dude at bottom right is him, I also think he is the new Chaos god risen to the pantheon (taking over slaanesh place, I want to say he is using slaanesh like the necrons use c'tan, captured him and sucking his essence or something like that) at first I thought it was skaven who have taken slaanesh place but it just did not fit and after having a few discussion concluded that Malerion taking over makes more sense... the horny one simply joined the pantheon, nothing says there can only be four...

as you can see the demon looking things has a close resembelence to this image (especially the helm and horns) and you can see the dragon wings and how the bottom half is becoming a dragon neck



also if you look at the picture you can see horns mimicing the new god symbol which is



in terms of actually making him, I suggest you take the meanest looking dragon, replace the head and some of the neck with an upper half of a dark elf and stick the wings on his back instead of the dragons... dunno... but I am sure they will release him sooner or later...

hope this helps, and again NOTHING is confirmed, this is all speculations but I am pretty sure that is what it is... just the hemlet/horns themselves are a big giveaway... anyways good luck...

Yup nothing is certain I think slaanesh is getting an overhaul, I stand by the theory that Morathi is taking slaanesh's place. Still Malerion aka Malekith looks awesome as a god.

When they disappated all that remained of some of the Blood God's most fierce warriors was shredded carrion. Yet this did not discourage those that came next, for the followers of Khorne scorned anything that would skulk int he fogs, and nor were they alone. Slaanesh, the Missing God, had been lost for centuries since before the Age of Chaos began, yet now there were signs of his presence in the Realm of Shadows. His followers, ever-loyal, marched in force upon the Shadowlands, intent on finding the being known as Malerion and rescuing their lost lord.

Yeah I think they are using this chance to redefine slaanesh and I am still calling it now Morathi is going to be the new slaanesh, since Malerion has his whole thing going with exile Aelf's and is the god of shadow plus the worshipers of slaanesh want REVENGE on Malerion. Plus We still don't really know whats going on with Morathi. Still I think its going to be interesting if they are making this a pretty big story line if this happens slaanesh might finally you be getting the love and attention that she/he really needed.

I am hoping for the c'tan thing, they using slaanesh (captured him somehow, when he was relaxing and weak from eating so much) and are using his as a source of power that way slaanesh daemons have a reason to exist (free their lord) and the dark aelfs are getting a boost in powers and looks...
