I am looking for help building a purely Ad-Mech list, but I want to try and make it competitive.. is this possible? Almost all Admech lists online feature allies, which I am not a fan of the concept (although I am fine mixing Cult Mech and Skitarii).

You'll waby some rangers, castellans with a data Smith, an onager, some skitarii, and some battle servitors

Do a search in this forum For skitarii there was a list posted here like a week ago that has a pretty stellar 1500 point list to aim for. I commented on that post as well.

I decided to to Skitarii allyed with cult and this is what i wound up with lol
Skitarii:
10 Vangaurd(100pts) w/ 3 arcrifles (45pts)
10 Vangaurd(100pts) w/ 3arcrifles (45pts)
2 Onager Dunecrawler (180pts) w/ 2 Neutron Lazers and Cognis Heavy Stubber (50pts) -possibly the iccarius array depending

Cult Mechanics:
Tech-priest Dominus (105pts) w/ Autocaduceus of Arkan Land (30pts)
3 Kataphron Destroyers (165pts) w/ 3 Heavy Grav-Cannons(free)
4 Kastelan Robots (480pts) 2 Cybernetica Datasmith (100pts)
This comes out to be about 1420 points. maybe also consider the artifact that makes snapchots fire at 5+ too?
I havent actually battled cause im still building em but the concept is putting the robots in the formation with the HQ and making them unkillable trolls lol, i was also considering rangers instead of vangaurd and maybe more vangaurd or those 45 point fast attack taser walkers, they just cost a lotta $$$ as its liek 45 points and cost 70$ for one lulz or maybe those instakill staves people too. i think the Cult compliment the Skitarii nice cause the CUlt cost a ton of points and the Skitarii can fill in the rest

I would personally run breachers because torsion cannons are amazing. Strength 8 AP 1 and any unsaved wounds are D3 wounds and any unsaved Pens. are D3 hull points.
