Well I haven't been playing for long but let's take a crack at it.
To play: Orks, as it's the only army I actually have. Also, I guess that technically it means that orks are my least favorite army to play because it's the only one I've played.
To battle: Space Marines, because they're one of the two armies I've fought and they aren't as annoying as Space Wolves. Also, that answers for my least favorite- Space Wolves.
Army to Paint: I've actually painted a few marines, but I think orks are actually my favorite just because of all the bits and gubbins that can go into them. Necrons look pretty badass though.
Army to Convert: I've done none of this.
Looks coolest: That's hard to deside. I think the least "cool" looking army is actually orks- because they're so chaotic and disorganized, it's hard to tell what in the world is going on when there's a ton of them on the table, but the coolest that I've seen personally is probably necrons. I just dig the whole "we're very obviously evil" look.

Dark Eldar. Least: hard to say since I haven't played them, but I wound up quitting Tau and Grey Knights because I couldn't get into them.
What is your favorite army to battle against?
Orks. Or Tau. Least: Tyranids. I hate them.
What is your favorite army to paint?
Tyranids. Undercoat, overcoat, dip in a bucket of stain. Done. Least: Dark Eldar. Too much detail. (I hate painting.)
What is your favorite army to convert/modify?
Dark Eldar! Almost all the kits are interchangeable, and they look so amazing. They're a joy to work with. Least: Space Marines. Sigh, dull.
What army to you find looks the coolest?
Dark Eldar. Least: Chaos Space Marines

Favourite Army to Play: Eldar, they were what got me into the game and my first love is still with me today, downing Chaos scum left, right and center.
Favourite Army to Battle Against: Nurgle Chaos Marines or Necrons, Nurgle for the challenge, because everything is hard to kill and Necrons for fluff.
Favourite Army to Paint: Harlequins, the variation is brilliant and the scheme is challenging, but a beautiful model is the result.
Favourite Army to Convert: Orks, the freedom given is excellent and I love their fliers (My Ork army consists of a Skyboss Wingnutz Formation so I can legally take so many, it does nothing on the table, but it looks cool)
What Army I Find Looks the Coolest: It's tough, because some 'vanilla' Space Marines can look cool, while some ridiculous Tau suit can be made boring. But if I had to pick one; Eldar, I love them.
Least Favourite Army to Play: Grey Knights, low model count I find less interesting and tactically flexible.
Least Favourite Army to Battle Against: Knights, anything below 2000 points with a Knight is just plain ridiculous.
Least Army to Paint: Space Marines, I painted some Ultramarines for a friend. Same colours everywhere, no fun.
Least Army to Convert: Eldar, getting the lines right is an absolute pain.
What Army I Find Looks the Dullest: Grey Knights.

Oh man, for sure. Nothing better than mowing down hordes of Orks, only for your opponent to shrug it off and throw in more gobs of boyz. My win ratio against Orks is not even that great ( CSM player myself) but I always have a great time.

To play, definetly tau. They have a lot of options and variety to chose from. I can gunline, or i can zip around with crisis suits and just point click shoot.
Hate playin against orks, i can beat them but 300 model green tides running with 4 up invulns are popular in my meta. Takes to long to deploy and to move. Gets way boring way fast.
I like fighting against space wolves and IG. Theres a semse of urgency when fighting against thunder puppy cav and wyberns

None really. I don't mind losing.

Harlequins! I love painting the freehand diamonds on them and just painting them in general.

Dark Eldar definitely. So many fun options to do.

Eldar don't have many options in the way of converting.
What army looks the coolest?
Again, Harlequins. I absolutely love them.
Least?
Umm... Maybe Tau or Necrons. The models aren't that cool looking to me. I have nothing against those that do, though.
That's just me though.

What is your favorite army to play? - Horus heresy Legion marines, so much variety, and the armies just look cool
What is your favorite army to battle against? - Orks or any other horde army, since the effect gets me every time with waves smashing into each other. 2nd favorite would be other assaulty armies, because the mass melee that happens is always fun.
What is your favorite army to paint? - having painted, and at one point or another, nearly every 40k and fantasy army, it falls to either skaven or

What army do you find looks the coolest? - Most of them really, excluding certain evil eldar.
What is your least favorite army to play? - Dark Angels, They are really just whiny, edgy marines, and I can't get behind that fluff enough to enjoy the army.
What is your least favorite army to battle against? - Knights >2,000 points, or any typical net list
What is your least favorite army to paint? - Imperial guard, outside of tank spam, it gets to samey, at least with skaven your expected to add a variety of colors
What is your least favorite army to convert/modify? Necrons, I like the old school, all metal T-1000 look
What army do you find looks the least cool? - dark eldar, "ohh look! edgy space elves"

Play: Orks. Such a fun style
Play against: Dark Eldar. So fast paced, every positioning matters!
Paint: Harlequins. Helps that I'm painting them all different colors
Convert: Orks again! So many possibilities!

My favorite army to play are my IG and I really don't have an army that I don't like playing.
I like fighting against Tyranids because I like killing bugs, I hate fighting Necrons because I'm terrible at killing them.
I really enjoy painting my Imperial Fists, but I hate painting Imperial Fists because...yellow... I like the color and it looks really good, but it takes a lot of practice to get it to look good.
Love converting Orks, because Orks. You can pretty much do anything with them and it looks good. I don't like converting Necrons. Necrons are the undead of 40k, there is not much you can do with a skeleton that looks good.
I really like the way every army looks, but the coolest has to be Tau for me. I really like the look of the basic Tau FIre Warrior and I love their suits.
