So you're asked to stop creating new topics, and what do you do? Create another one instead of updating one of your old ones! How much cheekier can you get?
Besides, posting a link to your blog instead of pasting over the content is bad form, in case you weren't aware. It's spam. Your entire contribution to this site is posting links to your blog in hopes of generating extra traffic. Inexcusable.

Oh, really? He got asked to stop creating new topics? I thought this was a good idea because each entry he links discusses a different thing, so people can discuss it too, didn't know they branded him a spammer for that.
I mean, it would be better if he just pasted the whole entry here, or summarized it in the post to avoid pointless posts that force you off the site anyway, as this, indeed, looks like traffic fishing, but still I don't really get the flak on him for doing that.

I think the problem with that is the discussion (if any) will be lost in the users posts, over time that is... I kinda like the individual posts but I have to admit he could just post the whole article into the post instead of getting views for the blog.

The alternative is having what essentially amounts to spam filling up forums as people send out new threads every - single - time they update something.
And, well, that's not going to happen.

That was the intent of this post to serve as the hub for all future blog posts - as other allready have discussion on them
Yeah they look scary. I'm interested in what you think of Orcs and Goblins now. I've started and stopped them a few times, and decided to make and army for Age of Sigmar. I've always loved the Spider Riders and Night Goblins, so that's the direction I'm going in. There is some crazy synergy between the Arachnarok and Spider Riders, especially if you take the Spiderfang Venom Mob. Arachnaroks cast Gift of the Spider God on units of Spider Riders is really fun, and average 14 Mortal Wounds dealt by a unit of 10.

I dig how in a setting where giant, muscled fungus men ride Mad Max cars and use their own teeth as currency, the concept of little engineering dudes with beards was considered a step too far down the aisle of silliness.

I have been getting in a bunch of games with my Ogres and have had some similar results to that previously mentioned. Here are some brief rundown of what my experience has been.
1. Enough good things cannot be said about Ironguts. They are absolutely amazing!!
2. Mornfangs are not as brutal as they once were, but their really high movement and durability is a big asset.
3. Giants got SOOO much better than they were. They have a huge damage output and can actually pick command models out of units with the stuff in bag ability.
4. Thundertusk's shooting attack is doom to heroes. Six mortal wounds at full health will kill most heroes/wizards in the game. Very dangerous since they can be picked out now.
5. Maneaters make a very capable support unit, but surprisingly aren't as brutal as the Ironguts. There shooting helps mitigate this, and I am a big fan of the ability that makes them not have to take battleshock tests. They also become much more brutal with the boost from Golfag Maneater
6. Gorgers are a big help in dealing with wizards and war machines. Entering the table eats their movement, but they put your opponent in a really hard position
7. Leadbelchers are probably my second favorite unit in the army. Their shooting can be absolutely devastating. They are still worthwhile even locked in combat, since they can still shoot normally while doing so.
8. The Bruiser with battle standard bearer is helpful but I admit that I miss the range of the leadership boost.
9. Firebellies are nice, but their signature spell is not as nice as Butchers, whose maw spell is amazing.
10. Hunters got a nice boost in my opinion. Their throwing spear can be very brutal if the shot makes contact and they still are strong in combat.
11. Skragg misses his ability to cast spells, but still pulls his weight. His healing prayer, innate healing and boost to the Gorgers is appreciated.
12. The Ironblaster is still useful, and provides a big help in dealing with enemy monsters, but is somewhat lackluster.
13. The scraplauncher on the other hand wrecks face for big units and doesn't need line of sight.
14. Sabertusks make a great flanking unit. They can be very useful in getting behind your opponent and getting to hard to reach units with the charge bonus from a hunter.
15. Golfag Maneater is a good hero to hold a flank, and all of his upgrade abilities are very useful.
16. The tyrants command ability is extremely valuable to larger ogre units and is no slouch himself. I am quite partial to the dual weapon load out.
I absolutely love Ogres in AoS. So much so that I've gone through and rebased the whole army to round bases.

Stonehorn and Thundertusk on 120x92 oval
Cannon and Scraplauncher on 120x92 oval
Characters, Maneaters and Gorgers on 50mm round
Ogre infantry on 40mm round
Mournfangs on 105x70 oval
Skragg on 105x70 oval
Sabertusks on 70x25 oval (though now I would use 60x35 oval)
Giant on a 60mm round
Gnoblars on 25mm round
They look great on these. Hope this helps.

Subject: HobbyKiller Blog - The Art of Charging in AOS
HobbyKiller wrote: Updated with today's blog post on playing with yourself
Context. It is important.
In all seriousness, at least post a blurb of it, this kind of post makes it look like you've done an update on, well, you know exactly what you wrote.
I think that every blogger that's talked about solo wargaming has made that joke at least once. By now it's like beating a dead horse. Only, because you're playing solo, the horse is you.
HobbyKiller wrote: Updated with today's blog post on playing with yourself
Nah, thanks. I am already an expert. My advice about playing with yourself: You don't need advice, just experiment a bit and you'll be an expert in no time. Make sure to bring plenty of scenery though, that helps a lot to make it more fun. Also, you can use toys to stand in for the opposing player. Helps with the immersion.

Re formations, thanks for good pictures showcasing how nonsensical the system is and how it's all about rules shenaningans. That's not a post against you or your blog ofc, you didn't write that joke of a rueset.
From the initial Age of Sigmar news thread, when its "feature" list was first confirmed:

A collosal, terrible, flaming, hysterical train wreck with burning clowns running around spraying it with seltzer bottles while ring masters cry out how everything is fine and we should all come in while the dancing elephants lurch around leaving trails of blood behind them.
HobbyKiller wrote: Updated with today's post on the use of formations in AOS
I'm not sure I understand the benefit of the T formation. Doesn't that only benefit you if the enemy's charge roll is just barely enough to get them to your unit? If they roll highly enough, can't they just move their models deeper into your unit?
Nerm86 wrote: One thing I have always wondered is: Can a unit be part of more than one formation at a time?
OP was talking about positional formations, but I think you're talking about the warscroll battalions?
(I don't believe they can for a number of reasons, but main one is the new chamber warscrolls from the Stormcast book are built from multiple warscroll battalions which would be nonsensical if you could count the same unit twice).
I must admit, formation-thinking hasn't really figured in my games so far because we've been generating a lot of terrain (and a lot of the scenarios specify additional terrain pieces) so we've not really had the room on the board!
UGH... really? Is the topic of posting a new thread for updates/new questions really coming up? I used to be a Moderator for IGN. We had more of these type situations come up than can easily be counted over there. Yes, there were some that were obviously posting to up their post count (because, for some reason in those days, post count mattered). But, they were rare.
Dakka Dakka forums don't move overly fast, but they move fast enough that topics can be quickly lost in the list. If for some reason I didn't visit for a couple of days, there would be several topics that would slide to the second page or low enough where they just wouldn't catch my attention.
Case in point, I have never heard of this particular blog before, and it has some great ideas. I'm really enjoying reading the entries. Had he just updated his blog post, I may have read the first page, then been distracted by something else or needed to move on to doing something else long before I finished reading it. By the time I came back to my computer, I probably would have forgotten about it. And, I would have missed out on some info that I am glad I know about now.
Same thing happens with multiple questions. I've even been called out on this one before, and while I see why it can bother some, I personally think it's absurd to make people save up their similar questions over the period of a day or two, and then ask them. If I have a question, I'm going to post it. If I think of something else an hour or two later, I'm going to post that question as well. They may be relating to the same faction, army, formation, etc. But, they are two truly different questions.
So... tl;dr
1) It's perfectly fine for people to post new topics for blogs as some people may not know about them at all and may be able to learn something from them
2) It's perfectly fine for people to post multiple questions about the same army, formation, faction, etc. in separate topics as it is absurd for people to be expected to either remember or write down quetsions over an entire day or two and then ask them all at once.
This posting of new topics for blog entires and questions is beyond my regular $0.02 as this is something that needs not to just be said but to become an unwritten (or preferably written) rule instead.
