My guess is they are whatever ship we saw the inside of with the Stormtroopers in the first teaser.

The first picture of Luke Skywalke floating around looks like he turned into a pretty tough Jedi master.

I really hope Mark Hammill is still a terrible actor, otherwise this movie will be ruined for me.

He's gotten pretty damn good over the years, actually. What with that little recurring role he had in some cartoon or something playing some sort of clown, I think.

Well, yeah, he's done pretty fantastic work in animation. That's a little different to live-action acting, though.

His guest spot in Arrow was quite hammy, but it's hard to say how much of that was deliberate for the role. A lot of the Arrow villains have been quite comic-booky (whodathunkit?).

Awesome! The transports look an awful lot like updated Assault Transports from Tie Fighter- and about the right size for the ones that gave us that first shot of the Stormtroopers in the transport in the first trailer.

The poster for the movie looks pretty good as well:

Good to see they're sticking with the classic poster design.

Only weird bit is Han's face. Something seems off. maybe he'd be better in profile.

That poster also makes it very clear that there is something wrong/different about the red lightsaber blades, as the fuzzy effect has been exaggerated, compared to the straight edge of the blue lightsaber.

That's because Kylo Ren built his own lightsaber and he is apparently neither Jedi nor Sith. His blade isn't nearly as elegant one constructed by a Jedi Master.

There's something by the right edge of the picture that looks like a four-legged combat walker. Kind of like an AT-AT with an hexagonal frame and a flat, stylized cockpit... or are these lasers?

Anyways, it's a damn fine shot. Good to see Star Wars without the foggy crayon-like palette that dominated the prequels.

Yeah, they look like AT-ATs without the stupid head. Now if only they could get rid of the stupid long legs.

Heh, it's agreed the IoM has the undisputed first place when it comes to absurd military designs... but the Empire/First Order follows a close second.

Yeah, I'm guessing that it's either Death Star Mk.III (not hugely likely, considering their previous luck) or they've developed or discovered some new super weapon

Although saying that, the surface does look oddly natural for a superweapon. Perhaps a death star style weapon, but mounted inside a planet to prevent the abuse of open exhaust ports?

Looks very mechanical to me. The huge grid like lines on the spherical weapon.

I was hoping they would move away from the death star style thing. We don't need a 3rd ball of death to be destroyed.

If it really is a planet gun then I already reduce the score of this movie by 3 points. I know its gonna ruin it for me if true. Planet Guns? Sigh.
