To Zahndrekh or not to Zahndrekh?

I'm going to a NOVA prep tournament this weekend and would like some comments or suggestions on my list. I've posted this a while back but the meta has changed a little since then.

Keep in mind that the NOVA rules are disallowing Super Heavies and Gargantuan Creatures so I don't need to worry about Wraithknights or Imperial Knights. And I don't think they do Maelstrom missions but that could change this year? I'm not sure on that.

Decurion:
Reclamation Legion
1x Zahndrekh
5x Immortals (Gauss)
10x Warriors
10x Warriors
3x Tomb Blades (Gauss, Neb, SV)

Canoptek Harvest
1x Spyder
3x Scarabs
3x Wraiths (Whip Coils)

Judicator Battalion
1x Stalker
5x Praetorians (Rods)
5x Praetorians (Rods)

Destroyer Cult
1x Destroyer Lord (Phase shifter, Warscythe)
2x Destroyer 1x Heavy Destroyer
2x Destroyer 1x Heavy Destroyer
2x Destroyer 1x Heavy Destroyer
2x Heavy Destroyer

I'm mainly concerned with whether Zahndrekh is worthwhile here or if I should go with a Command Barge or cheaper Overlord. I originally took him with Deep Strike in mind since most of my army could deep strike but I'm finding that starting the destroyers on the board is just fine. I'm also finding that starting the Stalker in reserve is generally a good idea though he doesn't get much action. He mainly arrives with the idea of buffing the Praetorians for whatever they're about to attack, then shooting any unit that's trying to gain linebreaker on me.

Other models I have available are 20 more Warriors, Another minimum sized Harvest and 2 doom/night scythes.

I think your list is fine

And I always use Zandrekh bevause of his abilities

You can choose what you need every turn

Stealth in ruins
Reroll Reanimation of 1
Reroll reserves
Reroll shots of 1

He was vast uses with his warlord traits

Normally I'd consider adding two Doom Scythes, but without Super Heavies, maybe you wouldn't need them.

If you've got any LoS blocking terrain you might be able to put the Stalker behind it with the Heavy Destroyers near by so they can jump out and take pot shots at things with BS10.

Yes indeed. The NOVA tournament last year had a lot of BLOS terrain so hopefully I can take advantage of that this year.

The times I keep them in reserves though are against Drop Pod lists. I'm still not sure if I should try and bubble wrap the stalker in this case and just weather the alpha strike, or if I should play the reserves game.

Take the battallion right out. They will only perform well against weak lists which your whole book is good againt

Please elaborate on why I should take out the battalion and what I should replace it with.

I figured they'd be good against other CC units, centurians and keeping my destroyers out of combat while also being fast to take objectives. They sort of fill the same role as Wraiths except I can fit 2 units of Praetorians in 405 points while only 1 unit of Wraiths for the same amount of points (due to Decurion and Harvest restrictions).

Looks solid. Not much I'd change.

Take the Magic: The Gathering 'What Color Are You?' Quiz.

Yes my Colour is Black but not for the reasons stated mainly just because it's slimming... http://imperiusdominatus.blogspot.com
