So, just played in my second tourney with the cohort mechanicus, and I freakin love it! retooling my list a bit and I want opinions. Here are the two lists I have been bouncing around.

What's your plan to deal with Armour? In particular Knights?

List with detroyers: I could shoot it with destroyers and hope to 6 it to death, or through the robot squads into combat and hit it with a bunch of haywire. 4-5 I10 haywire hits, then he probably kills 1 or 2 bots, then I finish it off with melee haywire.

List with sicarians: I would probably assault it with the rustalkers and be sure to have the infiltrators within 12" so the rustalkers will hit first. I could also drop the cadeus and give all the rustalker princeps dataspikes for an I10 free haywire attack, and then melee haywire.

That is about all I got haha

Yeah forgot about all the CC haywire.

You must give The Omnicient Mask to one of the rustalker units. Zealot is a huge boost to them.

I could drop the auto cad for it, IWND is nice on the unit but it has only been marginally useful in most of my games.

I have actually played with the killclade formation, its assault range is downright silly, and they are all decent in combat, but unfortunately, the sicarians aren't really all that resilient. Something to keep in mind, having the destroyer formation also bumps me up to 6 units, which means I get stage 2 canticles for the ad mech...

I guess my biggest problem using sicarians is they are so quickly canceled by scatbikes
