Can a ship with Dash Crew, land on asteroid, not roll for damage, and perform an action and still shoot?

Can R2-D2 Crew Trigger when you have not yet received hull damage? So for example, I lose all shields but not yet suffered a hull damage, at end of the end phase, can I regain a shield?

Can a stressed ship, receive the Target Lock after shooting because of Fire Control Systems? Or since it is stressed, it cant use this ability until it sheds its stress.

1) No the "Dash Rendar" crew card only allows you to shoot while on an obstacle. You will still lose your actions and roll for damage.

2) Yes R2 say's if you have no shield's you may.

3)Yes, that is a free action in the combat phase, stress does not apply in this instance.

Well, to be more specific, you can't perform actions, even free actions, while stressed. However, being "assigned" a focus token or "acquiring" a Target Lock is still legal. As long as you don't perform the action.

Dash's pilot card allows him to avoid rolling for damage and perform actions when on an obstacle (during the Activation Phase). If the Dash lands on an asteroid he still cannot shoot during the Combat Phase, which is why Dash players usually bring debris fields as their three obstacle tokens in tournaments (debris fields allow you to shoot even if you are overlapped). In short, the Dash pilot card allows you to ignore obstacles in the Activation Phase, not the Combat Phase.

The Dash crew card allows you to effectively ignore obstacles while you are shooting during the Combat Phase. This means that you can shoot when overlapping an asteroid and asteroids and debris fields cannot obstruct your shots (meaning the defender does not get an extra green die in their defense roll).

The designers talked about making a card that allows you to ignore the effects of obstacles but they rightly realized if one card was able to allow to ignore them in during Activation and Combat, it would be overpowered. That's why only Dash can do it; since he is unique, one player cannot ignore obstacles in both phases

Its mainly about the 2 evades tho?

What does his pilot ability say? Does it say "assign a token" or "perform an action"?

Nope, as they get to perform a free evade action after boosting, once they are stressed they are unable to perform the extra evade.

If you are, then no, you cannot do that. You can only take each action once per turn, even free actions (free actions means there is no penalty for taking them, not being able to do them as many times as you want). What you can do is:

- Advanced Sensors
+Boost action
+Free Evade action
-Push The Limit
+Focus or Target Lock action
- Receive a stress token
- Execute maneuver as normal

Not quite. Advanced Sensors makes you skip your perform actions step, so at best you'd be able to get 3 actions. Use Advanced Sensors to Focus/Target Lock, the immediately push for a Boost and Evade. Then you perform a maneuver.

Indeed.

IG-88C can at best perform three actions in a turn, unless there is some crazy combination I haven't thought of (though I don't think there is). I should point out that you do not have to do the actions in the order in which I listed them as you can Focus or Target Lock, Push the Limit to Boost, gain a free Evade action from your pilot ability, and then receive a stress. The Boost/Evade works with PtL like a nesting doll; the very last thing you do (the outer shell of the doll as it were) is gain a stress token.

Like Kord said, if you use Advanced Sensor to do all of this, you lose your Perform Actions step. The only time you will probably need to use Advanced Sensors is when you do an S-loop or you know you will crash into an obstacle or another ship.
