So, I lost an eye in Rogue Trader (Curse those Terrorcats!) And my Character is Primarily a shooting character (originally had a BS of 96 by aiming and having an Omni-Scope) and the BS nerf Heavily affects me
Is there any way to remove the Nerf given by the loss of an eye? (Like a cybernetic replacement?)

Adrift within the vortex of my imagination.

Cyber eyes are standard bionics tech. If the miniatures are any indication is one of the most common prosthetics.

Some people go as far as to have an eye replaced. If your character has sufficient Throne Gelt or contacts he can have a cyber eye, it will likely offer additional vision modes but may come with some penalties also.

n'oublie jamais - It appears I now have to highlight this again.

You're part of a Rogue Trader crew, it shouldn't be too hard to find yourself a good quality replacement cybernetic, unless you got a gak profit factor.

The problem is, is that the GM will only allow items in the books we have (core, into the storm and only war)
So im wondering if there is a book that has a cybernetic eye

The core book should have cybernetics listed under the armoury section.

Page 147 has a whole section on cybernetics, Page 149 has Cybernetic Senses, which can be used to replace lost eyes.

And depending on your GM, that might translate as anything from a perfect Replicant/Bladerunner style eye indistinguishable from the biological version, to needing an entire machine face to get the visual component! :-)

Pfft. Get a slaved cherub, mind-linked to your character, so he can look through its eyes.

Please tell me this is an actual thing you can do, either with the cherub, or a servo skull

It's the 41st Millennium - with technologies and wonders we could only dream of, many of which might only exist on one world of out countless millions.......Of Course you can do it! :-)

Automatically Appended Next Post:
(Or more specifically - nothing in the rules specifically forbids it, and as the books cannot ever possibly cover every conceivable technology in existence (otherwise there would be no eg. fridges or toilets in the future, as they aren't in the rules) - its basically up your GM to rule on it or not. Best float the idea, then if they give it the ok, no reason that in-char, your char might not understand that this is perfectly common/slightly rare/rumoured in legends only kind of thing, (depending on if it's to be a story hook or not.)

I have a feeling your gm actually wanted to nerf your BS

The item you are looking for is called "Cybernetic Senses" and its description begins on pg 149 of the Rogue Trader mainbook. They specifically call out cybernetic eyes under that catch-all term.

It is best to be a pessimist. You are usually right and, when you're wrong, you're pleasantly surprised.
