I like it, the wings are a tad too eldar for my liking though.... Even has those gem things that eldar armour has.

A bigger and more detailed picture of Corax has surfaced on the Warhammer World website.

Completely changed my mind about how he looked, gone from meh to wow. Definitely more detailed than the original image showed.

Now about that hair..

Glorious stuff. Really digging the Corax. Definitely be getting him in the new year. Only thing I'd change is that naff helmet. That niggle aside, fantastic job they've done on this one

yeah, picture of Corax is way better ... now he looks big enough for a Primarch ... still all these details on a black armor will be difficult to paint

Those are rivets, not gems. The Eldar wings have as you put it much larger gems.

Remember that Corax's wings aren't made of Wraithbone. They're metal.

They're angled down, so probably more likely to be verniers than spirit stones.

Liking the Raven Guard jump packs. Is that Reflex tech stuff? Also to those of you having a whinge, I'm not sure what you're complaining about. The Sanguinary Guard jump packs in 40K are much worse IMO and I refuse to have them in my BA force. I'll keep the nipple plate armour but they're getting Vanguard Vets jump packs.

I'm a massive fan of the Dark Furies. And I love Corax. Gonna wait for them both and order them together me thinks.

not to be that guy but are you nuts? the model is freaking gorgeous in every way

Yeah I have to say I like it.

The new image of Corax makes him look much better too.

Oh and yeah, they might not know it but they finally made a new Shrike model

The new image does help a bit but you still have the pencil troll hair and the Zap Brannigan pistol. Both are showstoppers for me and I wouldn't buy that model. I would have preferred a just about to take flight Corax instead of yet another forgeworld named character killing a leaning back nameless grunt on top of a bunch of rubble pose.

The emperor, in his infinity wisdom, designed each Primarch's hairdo apparently to withstand both wind, turbines, fire both bolter and regular, and frizz without the need for product.

Thats why Ferrus met his end, he didn't have hair to protect his head

But honestly, the Raven Guard stuff looks great to me, between the snipers, jump guys and Corax, I am really tempted to start 500 points of RG and the Primarch... I'm seriously on my way to having a bit of each Legion.

Corax looks really nice, but not at all a fan of his jumping buddies- way too bulky looking.

I think the problem for me is that they have those huge wings like they're supposed to be ornate and stylized armor, but they're just a flat outline cut out of a sheet of plastic. It's like the sculptor stopped working on it after putting together the rough draft, and FW rushed it out to meet a deadline. If they weren't going to add more detail to the wings I would've preferred to have a normal jump pack with subtle decorations, like this:

-Tylos Rubio is being worked on right now by Israel

the White Scars.
-The Keshig will be upcoming for White Scars

-Mastodon and Stormbird will appear

Further info we have also found out:

-Darren Parwood is working on a new knight
-A new air tile is being worked on right now that will accomodate the Stormbird/Thunderhawk. Not being completed until the Stormbird was finished (just to be sure the Stormbird doesnt go through the board!!). Stormbird is currently in printing production. Possible first appearance at Weekender

The poor man really has a stake in the country. The rich man hasn't; he can go away to New Guinea in a yacht. The poor have sometimes objected to being governed badly; the rich have always objected to being governed at all
We love our superheroes because they refuse to give up on us. We can analyze them out of existence, kill them, ban them, mock them, and still they return, patiently reminding us of who we are and what we wish we could be.

These painted Dark Furies miniatures look better, but I still think that the jump packs are too big.

The AL Headhunter Killteam on the other hand looks friggin awesome ... love the shoulderpads.

Lotsa lovely new stuff on the way. New ordinatus variant - like that a lot. Considering getting one once that is released. Corax - delicious!! New warlord weapons are fantastic. Lucius pattern head is horrible. Looks like an old style boiler furnace. Lucius pattern - bleughhhhhhhh. Hated the luscious pattern warhound too but that's just me. Mastodon is a beautiful thing - thankfully for my wallet I'm not collecting SM at the mo!!!!! 2016 is looking good (and costly!!)
