I'm not a fan (at least for it in 40k/30k). It has a Khador Warmachine warcaster feel to me rather than something from the GW universe. I don't hate it though but simply don't like it either.

Jep, thinking of Khador Butcher as well... But still like it. I might grab one for my cabinet (depending on price ofc).

Gundabad Berserkers?

That's a strange way of spelling "Imperial Armour".

OK, I got it. They are keeping that Deredeo shield-thing for 12.16 release. *saltysaltysalty*

Breacher shields are nice, but finally getting Cataphractii shoulder pads would have been nicer.

The poor man really has a stake in the country. The rich man hasn't; he can go away to New Guinea in a yacht. The poor have sometimes objected to being governed badly; the rich have always objected to being governed at all
We love our superheroes because they refuse to give up on us. We can analyze them out of existence, kill them, ban them, mock them, and still they return, patiently reminding us of who we are and what we wish we could be.

Those chainglaives look like third party stuff. Weird they didn't give them more flair.

Also, mandatory "Where my decals at!" for this week.

I’ve been looking for boarding shields, and play Ultras. But the price on those for 5 still makes me cringe. I know FW is the land of sticker shock, but ouch.

So, looking at those typos, its safe to say they probably had their christmas party last night.

That is one hungover dude creating that overlay.

I know.....I wonder why they are Ultra branded? You would think they'd be smart enough to not limited themselves.

To be honest - if GW released a Space Hulk expansion with Hybrids vs Boarding shields I honestly couldn't reach for my wallet fast enough. As it is this lovely release misses me on both price and faction.

Because there's already generic ones?

There's the older Boarding Assault Upgrade Set as well.

To be fair - there's already Ultramarine ones with the Praetorian Breachers. I just think non-branded shields and swords would have been a better call.

Does that set play well with MKII, MKIV, MKV and MKVI too?

Praetorian Breachers? Do you mean Invictarus Suzerains? Also, only Ultramarines can give power swords to Breachers.

Mostly. One arm is hidden behind the shield and most of the MK arms can be posed to look OK. I did some Medusan Immortals with them - I'll see if I can dig them out and post photos.

Well - they're the guys who write the rules. I'm sure there's a way around it

Of. fething. Course. They release a 30K Breacher Upgrade kit and it is Ultramarine only. Not for the legions that use Breachers as their bread and butter (Imperial Fists and Iron Warriors). Yes, Ultramarines use Breachers and use then well, but the Imperial Fists Rite of War REQUIRES them. As in, your Compulsory Troops must be Breachers.

Man, I am glad that I decided to order my shields from Shapeways.

I'm sure they're going to release breacher shields for more legions, I would bet Imperial Fists among them. Why wouldn't they?

It would have been a lot better if they released a generic shield set first. Then EVERYONE is happy rather than 1/18 of the people.

Again though, those arms are too modern for Heresy-era armour.

Only if you are entirely unwilling to file off some purity seals and arm parts to just fit to existing arms of Heresy-era stuff. No, they are glue-and-go, but they are generic boarding shields.

That is my problem with them. I don't want Mk VII arms on my Mk III bodies. The new UM shields have arms that will work for both Mk III and Mk IV.
