Learning lessons from the last tournament, the same store is going to host another tournament with roughly the same composition rules but some slight tweaks.

Spoiler:
Rules
100 Wound Armies
Minimum 6 War Scrolls - Maximum 12 War Scrolls
Maximum Wounds per Scroll - 25
1-3 Heroes (must include at least one as your General)
0-2 Monsters
0-3 War Machines (must count wounds for War Machine plus crew members)

Summoning is being treated as "feat". If a Wizard is successful in casting a summoning spell, the War Scroll that was summoned loses that ability. A Wizard that fails his summoning spell may try it again next round. It is only lost after being successfully cast.

Summons CAN take you over the original wound count.

Other things to note from the attached document.
Initiative rules NOT in use.
When shooting into a melee combat in which you have engaged troops, you WILL hit your own troops on a Roll of "1" on your Hit dice. You will then roll wounds and saves.
LIST RULE WORTH REMEMBERING
When a unit exceeds 10 models, receive 2 models for each that is purchased with wounds. i.e. a unit that begins at Five, 1-wound models, would cost 10 wounds total for a unit of 10, but only 15 wounds for a unit of 20.
This means that even though your 20 man unit only costs 15 wounds, it counts as a 20 wound War Scroll for purposes of a the 25 Wound max per War Scroll.

With this in mind, I am thinking something along the lines of this:

Hero 1/Monster 1 / Warscroll 1
Lord Screech Verminking 12 wds

Warscrolls 2 and 3
Stormfiends 4x ratling cannons 24 wds each

Warscrolls 4 and 5
Warp-Grinder Weapon Team 3 wds each

Warscroll 6 / Monster 2
Great Taurus 8 Wds (Or maybe HPA @ 12 wds)

This is where I run into the point of "What else do I want?" with 26 (or 22) wounds to play with.

One option is to go:
Warscroll 7
Plague Censer Bearers x5 5 wds

Warscroll 8
Plague Monks x22 (counts as 16 wounds for cost)

Warscroll 9 / Hero 2
Deathmaster Snikch 5 wds

Another option is:

Warscrolls 7/8 / Warmachines 1/2
2x Warplightning Cannon 6 wds each

Warscroll 9
Stormvermin (10 w/ HPA or 18 w/ Great Taurus)

Thoughts?

I would probably have a Screaming Bell in there as it can summon a Verminlord and is pretty good at Magic and Close Combat as well

Yes, the screaming bell is good in close combat, and cracks call is hilarious against low movement units, the ability to summon a verminlord is 1/36.

That is the main reason I am taking Lord Screech Verminking. Dreaded 13th creates a new VERMINOUS unit equal to the amount of models pulled. If you hit a lone model unit, or only kill one guy, it allows you to chose a Verminlord Warbringer.

Playing the averages game, A lot of death models have a move of 4", and the average 2d6 is 7, so 3 mortal wounds with cracks call, as opposed to 6.5 with 13th. Additionally, Cracks Call gets a lot worse when targeting their chariots, which move at 10".

Most destruction and chaos move at 5-6", meaning 1-2 wounds on average.

Order you go against Brets which it becomes largely useless or Stunties, which becomes slightly better, as they are mostly at 4".

I have been toying around with the idea of throwing in a plague furnace, and am looking how I would modify a list.
