Subject: Thinking of collecting and taking an Aspect Host as allies. Which Aspects to choose?

Now if I do, which tbh is a long shot atm, due to wanting to reinforce my necrons (my particular builds got hit HARD with the new dex) and CSM (either Daemon allies to complete the triumvirate, or FW units like Typhons and Hellblades etc), and the fact that it is Eldar. But thinking of an aspect host to go with both my Renegades or BA.
Now the primary reason is to make my plasma oblitorator a piece of white hot death by embarking a Dark Reaper Exarch so it gets 2 bs6 st7 ap2 7" primary weapon blasts that ignore jink, quite a meta buster! His two companions would basically be shooting out of the firepoints at bs10 (bs5 with rerolls to hit of 1 due to ammo dump). So that unit would be sorted.
The other 2 units I'm not so sure of. Now bear in mind that if I run this with Renegades, I will have to watch out for 'one eye open', so further DR squads in my artillery lines are too risky. It more needs to be something that can go forward itself and stay away from my gunlines or advancing chimeras/spawn. BA won't have this issue of course.
So would you go for Fragons in a serp? Bs5 on these bad boys looks excellent when considering they explode tanks on a 4+ on the damage chart. The serp itself still puts out a huge amount of firepower too.
Would you go for Hawks? Scatterless DS with that large blast with 6 models plus a 18" move and ability to REALLY screw with flyers (but not fmcs). Got haywire but terribad guns!
How about Spiders? My pet hates. They are really amazing imo and just got better with the new dex.
Or Avengers? Not really sure how these would fit.
Can't be banshees, scorps or spears as its the +1bs I'd want. Unless of course you think infiltrating scorps would be a good idea alongside renegades or maybe mobile scoring spears?
Edit: Although thinking about it, 3 Aspect squads will be A LOT cheaper cash wise than strengthening my crons and FW for my CSMs.

What does the rest of the list contain?
Hawks can double up as AA if you're lacking.
Dragons for SHV and popping vehicles.
Spiders are good as ever.

Well, I'd go for Fire Dragons in the first place. They are the best unit in the game when it comes to take down heavies.
I'm not so convinced about Spiders. If your opponent fields shells, they can die quickly. Depends a bit on your local meta.

For BA my list can contain practically anything aside from bikes, attackbikes, scout bikes, more than 2 speeders, LRC, and razorbacks. I have multiples of everything else so could be anything.
For Renegades it tends to look like an artillery backbone with a couple of earthshakers and a couple of wyverns and 6 laser destroyers, backed by spawn, mutants, renegade infantry (lots of these), chimeras, and sometimes HWSs, Giant Spawn and/or a Hellhound.

There doesn't tend to be a ton of artillery in my meta. Theres some SMs, DA, Eldar, Crons, CSMs, IG, and Tau mainly. Guard and Tau will have the shells but not most others, and they tend to be direct rather than barrage.
I really like the idea of Fragons in a serpent, it would cost a fair bit more both point wise and price wise though. How about 1 of each? Or do they work better in pairs?

Well, Fire Dragons work better in pairs. Two units of 5 in a Serpent with tl scatterlaser, underslung shuricannon, and holofield. No Exarch upgrades.
Instead of Spiders, I prefer Dire Avengers in Serpents. The US school around Smitty or jy2 will tell you that min sized units suffice. I prefer 10 men units. They have a larger impact and can eventually get their job done.

Warp Spiders wound almost everything in the game on 2+. Tey hit on 2s in the formation. They allow null deployment as long as you have a LoS blocker somewhere in your deployment zone. They are incredibly mobile. They reroll failed leadership / morale, can hit and run out of combat. They deep strike. They are one of the most flexible and under costed units in the whole of 40k. Also, even if you are targeted by barrage, you have an opportunity to flicker jump, alowing you to mitigate against the blast pretty well...
