When the infantry squads repop, do their attached enforcers repop with them?

Tricky, but I would say no.

You get back the unit, with all models and upgrades listed on your army list. You do not assign an enforcer on your army list, you assign it during deployment.

I agree. The Enforcers are not bought as an upgrade to the squad, like some SGTs, they are separate units.

Agree with the posters above; you do not get the Enforcer back as it is bought as a separate unit.

Some people might argue that you do get ICs back due to treating a unit + an attached IC as a single unit etc. etc., but if you could get back your Enforcer, there is nothing preventing you from getting back Kharn or Abaddon, which would be a bit silly.

Independent Characters have a specific Rule that states they automatically leave the Unit if all the other members of the Unit are killed.

8th made it so I can no longer sway Tau onto the side of Chaos, but they will eventually turn aside from their idea of the Greater Good to embrace the Greatest of pleasures.

Enforcers are not Independent Characters. They join units much in the same way old crypteks did in their 5ed codex.

I was replying to GrafWattenburg, who mentioned some people might try and argue that Independent Characters get to 'respawn' because of the 'for all Rule purpose' Clause that I do so despise.
Just highlighting that Independent Characters have a clause causing them to leave the Unit if all other members have been removed as casualties, but there is still interesting timing concerns....

Thanks for your feedback guys. That rules out the decently competitive unending horde list for me then :(

Still pretty good without enforcers ;-)

Honestly you don't want the enforcers. You want them to run away, because then they flee the table, or get swept in CC AND RESPAWN. Place them on a back field objective. Your opponent shoots and kills 10 of them? Pfft, ok, they run away, then immediately come back at full strength. Losing "Infinite Guardsmen" was the worst blow in the crippling mess of Codex: Silly names in space. Now we have it (mostly) back.

Just isn't my style to not have a menacing squad leader that will execute you if you show any signs of cowardice.
