I... actually don't know. Help?

This is my second finished Space Wolf model, please tell me what I did wrong, what I did right, how I can improve, etc. Thanks!

The whites of the eyes are a bit too big for me.

Aye I agree, tune them back a bit and the model will seem much much different. Also consider giving him a mark of his past and the pack he used to run with.

He looks nice, eyes are incredible difficult to do right so those are rather well done.
If anything i'd advise painting the rim of the base black as the red really distracts from the model.
Other than that the basing is well done and i really like the runestone on his necklace.

Perhaps not, but since GW seems to subsist off sadness and pain, I can't rule it out.

Thanks for the comments! I'll try to tone the eyes down a bit, I just thought it pointed to the direction that he's gone a bit loony from losing all his friends. The reason he doesn't have any squad or company markings is because he doesn't feel like he belongs in the chapter/company. All of his friends are dead, many of the other warriors look down on him for not dieing with his comrades. He scrapes of his company and squad marks, repaints his shoulder pads to a neutral dark blue, and will not repaint it until he feels he has avenged his comrades and regained the respect of others.

I'm not the best at fluff, sorry.

Haha, that is pretty cool to be fair. I like the looney bit.

I think he's really low contrast. It looks like you washed the model to give it a dulled down and shaded look, but it kind of muddied everything up a bit. Bring some of the colors back up to their base color while leaving the recesses shaded and you'll get a more eye-catching mini. As for the eyes, eyes really aren't that hard. Paint the eye black, then put a tiny dot of white in each corner. It centralizes the pupil and keeps them from looking walleyed or crosseyed, and the black also outlines the eye and makes it stand out.

The basing is good, but why the red rim? It's incredibly distracting, especially with how muted everything else is. Paint the rim black or dark brown (Rhinox Hide if you're using GW paints) and that'll make it frame the miniature better.

All that aside, I think your brush control is solid - the colors are neatly blocked in generally and I don't see much spillover. I think you've got the foundation to be a really good painter, it'll just take a little work!

I'll try to light him up a bit more next time. The whole colour scheme is based around a dark grey, not sure what to do to brighten it up. The eyes are a paint to me, sorry. And the base rim is just a colour code I use.
