It's Screamerstar, you know how it works. Be'lakor is there for backup and to bring invisibility onto the screamers incase the grimoire herald gets sniped for whatever reason. C&C would be welcome, I haven't played with Screamerstar in a long time so I don't know how it is with the current meta of drop pod spam and scatbikes.

Playing:
Main:
-Chaos Daemons
-Sometimes CSM allies for Daemons
Alts:
-Dark Angels
-Inquisition, nobody expects the imperial
-Officio Assassinorum
-Legion of the Damned

I love the Screamer Star and it still has its place in competitive lists but I think you are way over doing it here. Without Hit and Run it just doesn't stack up against other CC Deathstars (think Iron Priests on TWM w/ bikes plus either lots of grav or Conclave) in terms of damage output and will be seriously in trouble against the new MSU contenders as you pointed out. I'd drop 2 Heralds and the third unit of Horrors for something that hits hard. Either a D Thirster to benefit from Invis, a couple Soul Grinders, lots of Flesh Hounds for early game pressure, whatever else you've got really, That's a seriously over inflated Star you've got there and much lacking in the 'Death' portion of a Deathstar. With 7ths changes to the psychic phase the Screamer Star became much. more of a Utility Star than the S6 spitting death machine that it once was. Adjust accordingly.

Does Screamerstar only work with two heralds? In that case somethin like this would be more effective:

Chaos Daemons Combined Arms Detachment
HQ

(300) Kairos Fateweaver-Warlord
(150) Herald of Tzeentch, ML3, Disc, Exalted Reward
(140) Herald of Tzeentch, ML3, Disc, Greater Reward
(155) Herald of Khorne, Juggernaut, Exalted Locus, Greater Reward, Lesser Reward

Troops
(109) 11 Pink Horrors, Icon of Chaos
(45) 3 Nurgling Swarms

Fast Attack
(225) 9 Screamers of Tzeentch
(320) 20 Flesh Hounds

Chaos Space Marines Allied Detachment
HQ

(350) Be'lakor
Troops
(55) 10 Cultists, Flamer

Use grimoire+cursed earth on screamers, invisibility on hounds. Again notcsure how it'd do in current meta but any advice welcome.

Aren't you missing a troop there ?

I want to make a list like this.. but fit the hounds in a gorepack and have a bastion to hide behind. Struggling to make it fit .

Late to the party, but the revised list looks better. Allows for much better board control with 2 big scary ground units as opposed to one.
