So, you are asking our thoughts about a game no one has yet been able to play?
Anyway, animation and UI quality seem to be massively improved, other then that, to early to say.

I'm still undecided. On the one hand, it might be nice, but on the other, it's about £10 more expensive than BB1's original release, with the same number of teams. If they go the same way as BB1 with their DLC, by releasing reasonably-priced expansion pack-type games (a la Legendary Edition) with the other teams then I won't mind as much, but if it's £4.99 for each additional team then I'm going to have problems. I'm already suspicious because you can either have Lizardmen or Wood Elves, but not both unless you're willing to pre-order twice, and X-Box and Playstation don't even get a choice. I suspect the two teams will be Day 1 DLC, and will not exactly be cheap. If that's the case, they can sod off.

Mandorallen turned back toward the insolently sneering baron. 'My Lord,' The great knight said distantly, 'I find thy face apelike and thy form misshapen. Thy beard, moreover, is an offence against decency, resembling more closely the scabrous fur which doth decorate the hinder portion of a mongrel dog than a proper adornment for a human face. Is it possibly that thy mother, seized by some wild lechery, did dally at some time past with a randy goat?' - Mimbrate Knight Protector Mandorallen.

Actually, this is one case where it's less scummy. The pre-order races we're always going to be DLC, due to the release delay they finished the extra two teams before release and thus allowed pre-orders to get one for free. If you're thinking, but they finished them, why not just include them? Because they still cost the same in development to make. This day 1 DLC looks scummy but is actually the opposite, for a change.

It's not the fact they're D1DLC, it's the fact that they're DLC at all. Do it like BB1 did it by bringing out a well-priced Legendary Edition-type expansion pack with the rest of the teams in it, or not at all.
I'm much happier paying £20 for 12 teams than I am paying £3.99-£4.99 each for a team, to the point where if it goes that way, I just will not buy the game until such a time as they're released as a bundle in a 50% off sale.

Isn't that sad though?
5 years ago if you released a video game with only half the content the community would puke on you and not buy your game.
Now? Its part and parcel. Fallout 5 will be you stuck in a vault with no gear and everything will be dlc. Want that cheese eating vault outfit? 3.99 on the card, sucka.

I sincerely doubt it was any sort of statement of fact and more a comment based on the current state of how games are sold, light-heartedly taken to an extreme in order to prove a point. There's really no reason to take it seriously at all...

A buddy of mine who is in the know told me. He says its a massive conspiracy to make all games like this. No more catching butterflies or blending in with courtesans. No no, that's all gonna be pay to play. Bum Oath 9 is gonna come out soon and everything I say... Will happen in that game. Its part of a conspiracy my buddy told me about to make it seem like a hoax. Who would believe something that happened in a video game right? But this is the truth people. We need to stop this thing in its tracks. I mean full blown media coverage! We can't just hang around in convention halls anymore, we have to get out there and spread the word!
It all goes back to Ancient Sumeria and the Annunaki, our whole human history has been hijacked. Ataris ET? That was the greatest video game known to man and if the CIA hadn't stepped in and doctored the cartridges we would still be playing it! But it was too good and the US government knew that if it had hit shelves then Wizards of the Coast would never have been able to buy TSR, and the whole of human evolution would have been saved. But as it stands, CIA yes-men, who have been possessed by Reptilian spies, have been working since before the Great Flood to poison our minds.
We used to be a race of highly evolved super beings with powerful telepathic powers and we used to have airplanes that looked like bad-ass fish, but our mass consciousness has been sublimated by these Reptilian Invaders. When Atlantis fell the Bush Administration blamed Canada, but we managed to shift the blame onto Australia and New Zealand. England was really pissed about the whole ordeal and decided that those two countries ought to pay a lot more for certain things. Then we had the Civil War, then 1812 ( and you bet your ass the CIA was ruining video games back then too ) and then we had the World Wars and Justin Beiber. Whatever remained of our advanced spirituality was dissolved, like a Space Marine in acetone.
After the Cold War and the Bay of Pigs and a rest for lunch, we as a species were so emotionally devoid that we would settle for any goddamned thing to pass the time. Even if it meant paying for content that should have been included in the first place.

Playing against Dwarfs is NOT fun. Little bearded jerks give out some seriously badass beatings on the pitch. They knocked out 5 of my guys including my ogre :( Ended up at a score of 1-1 Question: Every time a guy gets knocked out, there's a timer that pops up. Do I have to do something there? Doesn't appear to be any buttons to press.

If it follows the BB rules, which I assume it does or it would be very weird, you can use an Apothecary to TRY to heal a KO.

Will have to look into that. It's very early on in the game's campaign, so I don't think I've got an apothecary on hand yet.

So I looked into the Apothecary thing on Blood Bowl- it's gradually unlocking things as I play the campaign. So I can now commit fouls and injure folk. And have access to the apothecary to patch my guys up. On a slightly different note- how bull gak are Elven teams?! Those guys can cover a huge distance on the pitch and rarely mess up an action!

Yeah, elves are pretty obnoxious. With agility 4 across the board, they'll dodge out of your tackle zones on a 2+ and are really good at passing the ball. Best way to deal with them is to beat the crap out of them. They have no 'big guy' so your ogre should be able to wreck their front line. I don't recall what their team line up is in the campaign, but injuries are hard for them to replace in multi player because their players are more expensive. If you take enough down, they'll find it much harder to score.

Knocked about 3 of them out for a good bit, which diminished their numbers on the field enough for me to leg it to the end zone with the ball a couple of times. I'm now having a crack at the Bretonnians. Their knights players are tough nuts to crack, but the yeomen are pretty soft. I had a dabble with the Chaos All-Stars team in a "friendly" against the Dwarfs. Killed a player in the first turn with a backhand haha.

Hah, sounds like you already know how to run chaos. Crush the stunty buggers in to the dirt.
I'm playing a bretonnian team against my friend in a multi league. The knights are great for fighting, scoring, picking up the ball, running...they do everything in fact! The peasants are great for....being cheap and dying for their lords!
Speaking of fatalities, had one of my blockers trip over and die while 'going for it' the other day. Luckily I had an apothecary to give me a better result, but man, it was pretty funny.

It certainly can happen! It forces an armour roll, which can cause an injury. The unfortunate blocker just happened to receive the worst one!
Would anyone like to play some Bloodbowl? Currently I only play single player or with my aforementioned friend. Any excuse to make some new teams and have some more player accidents.

To find the extended patchlog, please go here. We'll keep working hard in the next weeks and months to enhance your game experience thanks to your constant feedback on every aspect of the game! Is Blood Bowl 2 still infuriatingly biased, making your team use all its rerolls on the first turn before you all die?

* Battle Sisters story (untitled)

Just picked it up on PS4. Couldnt get on with BB1 but I seem to be picking this up a lot better. Probably beacuse the campaign slowly introduces concepts rather than just throwing everything at you in a poor tutorial.
Happy with the purchase so far but only a few simple games in.
