I'm in shakedown mode for my list for an upcoming tourney, and thus far have..
Talonbane Cobra (33)
Kihraxz (28), Predator (3), Glitterstim (2)
Boba Fett (43)
Firespray-31 (39), Veteran Instincts (1), Recon Specialist (3)
N’Dru Suhlak (19)
Z-95 Headhunter (17), Lone Wolf (2)
For a total of 95 points.
I did have a Mangler on Bob, but given his predilection for getting up close and personal, I have found I use the extra die from his primary more than the crit generation. I'm still open to the possibility of dropping it back in, but I'm curious if anyone has any other ideas where the points can be better spent. Automatically Appended Next Post: I'm looking very hard at engine upgrade but I'm not sure if I prefer it on Cobra or Bob.

Either one would do well with an Engine Upgrade, though I think it might be easier to use on Boba Fett, since he has the 2 firing arcs. But, that being said, it would be easier without it as well, do I'd probably go with putting it on Cobra.
Cobra with Predator and Glitterstim is going to have enough rerolls/a turn of super focus to be fine, so using the Boost to get closer would be much nicer.

It's more that allowing higher PS pilots to modify their manoeuvre with a boost or barrel roll becomes exponentially more powerful, as the later the move in the turn, the better informed your decision becomes.
Plus with Talonbane he's just a 5 HP/2 AG target, regardless of all else, so anything that helps arc dodging to mitigate incoming fire (and bad luck) is tempting, I'd actually love him to barrel roll, but not enough to sacrifice Predator for Expert Handling (or do I...?)
Engine Upg on any large based ship just makes them uber quick, and on Bob gets him where he wants to be that bit sooner, plus with the same high PS it has the same advantages.
If I went with Engine Upg I'd lean to Talonbane, but open to other suggestions.

EU on a large ship is a better investment than on a small ship. Boba Fett needs to be in close so anything that can help him do that is worth it.

I dread having to fly large base ships without engine upgrade. It makes a huge difference in their utility, especially higher PS pilots.

See, I've run the Firespray several times without feeling the need for the EU, but I can get a couple of games in before the event, so I can switch it around and see which feels better.
Of course, that still leaves me the 1 point left over...

EU on a large based ship without a native boost is just about as mandatory as an upgrade can get in this game, especially if you are as high a PS as you have your Boba.
Of course, that still leaves me the 1 point left over...
Well, you don't have to spend all 100 points. Keep it for an initiative bid against Fel or another PS 9 ace or put Inertial Dampeners on Boba.

If you don't like the EU on Boba, there's always Cluster Missiles for N'Dru. +1 die w/ a reroll on 2 attacks isn't bad.
There's also the darker option of putting the Dead Man's Switch on Boba. If you're going to be at Range 1 anyway...
