Fellow AoS players, I'm about to join you. I just bought a big lot of Stormcast and am wondering to go next. Very excited! Any scenarios I should play, anything else I need, any comp you can recommend, any advice would be much appreciated (and no snark please guys)! Don't have any of the books yet, including the starter one.

The lot consists of

2x Lord Relictor
1x Lord Celestine
6x Retributors
5x Paladins
12x Liberators
5x Decimators
3x Prosecutors
10x Judicators
1x Ophidian Archway

Bought for 1200 sek (about $140 or £90)

As for comp, I can shamelessly recommend the PPC, at this blog.

I've heard that the second AoS book, Quest for Ghal Maraz, has some nice scenarios. I dont own that book yet so others can provide better info on it.

Is that the Lord Celestant on Foot or on Dracoth?
Both are good in their role, but they have very different command abilities so picking the right one to be general can have a massive effect - normally if it's an offensive scenario I'll go with the Lord Celestant on foot as his ability is really good, especially if you can keep your Retributors and Decimators near him.
Lord Celestant on Dracoth is really handy in Hold Ground / Defensive scenarios as you can rely on your units to fight to the last.
Looks like a pretty good selection, but I'd strongly recommend the Lord-Castellant for his defensive ability, some Prosecutors (you haven't got anything fast other than the Dracoth, and I've found them pretty reliable for wizard/warmachine crew hunting), I'd also suggest possibly either a battle wizard or a warrior priest, purely because Stormcast have zero magical defence in-faction.

Scenario recommendations... The Watchtower, The Ritual or (can't remember the proper name) Protect the Realmgate are pretty good because your army is kinda secondary to the objective.
You have a limited time to achieve a specific objective, and body count is irrelevant. You quickly learn to start thinking in efficiency terms, and because the scenarios are quite tight you will likely learn from your mistakes quicker because they'll be more obvious.

As far as scenarios are concerned, I like only "The Ritual" and "Storm the Walls" from the first book. I wouldn't recommend buying it. If you're bent on buying one book go for "Quest for Ghal Maraz". I don't own it, but it certainly looked better than Age of Sigmar.

Thanks very much! It's the Dracoth one, and I forgot that I also have 3 Proseutors

To provide a counterpoint, I would recommend picking it up - as well as the scenarios mentioned above, I would certainly add The Trap and The Watchtower to the list, and I can't say any of the other scenarios are actually bad. I think you may enjoy them.

So I bought the book used, about half price I think? Let's hope it's worth it, still a bit expensive.

Have a read through and let us know what you think. I am playing the first battle, Hold or Die this afternoon, actually - I'll see if I can get a battle report done!

For a balanced 60-80 wound tournament list with three hero keywords, I would run:

1 lord castellant (to buff armor saves of your general)
1-2 mounted lord celebrant on draconian
1 celestant prime (if only taking one mounted lord)

A squad of 5 retribution
A squad of 5 judicators
A squad of three prosecutors
several squads of liberators

Or run a deep strike formation (take the units you are restricted to) with an added lord castellant (for armor saves) and a celestant prime.

Both are good lists and great fun to play.
