1) You don't need targeting computer on Royal guards, since they already can't take enough actions.
2) The Academy Pilot is kind of unnecessary. I think you'd be better served investing in your interceptors, and bidding for initiative. I'd suggest replacing the royal guards with Carnor Jax, Tetran Cowall or Turr Phenir. Also, in an interceptor list you do not want to be at 100 points exactly. Spend some on bidding for the Initiative.

Yeah, I'd drop the Academy pilot and switch the targeting computers to Stealth Devices. Then of course, I'd have to at least have Turr Phenir with Veteran Instincts.

Would Shield upgrades be suitable instead of the stealth devices? Is one better than the other? I just dont like the fact that the stealth device goes away after you take a hit, but then again they both go away after you take a hit....
So 99 pts:
Soontier Fel
Royal TIE Guard
Autothrusters
Targeting Computer
Push the Limit
Carnor Jax
Royal TIE Guard
Autothrusters
Stealth Device
Wingman
Turr Phennir
Royal TIE Guard
Autothrusters
Stealth Device
Veteran Instincts

Stealth Device on Soontir Fel instead of the Targeting computer. Defense is going to your greatest ally - with only 9 hit points in your entire list, you'll need to avoid hits as much as possible.

Honestly, Targeting computer works on Soontir, because there are often times that you want to gain a focus, but have already gotten into position with your first action, and aren't getting shot, so there is no point in double focusing or evading.

I have always played Fel with the Targeting Computer...it seems to work out well .

Agree on dropping the Academy Pilot.
Push The Limit is crucial for Interceptors - your survival depends on double actions to either maneuver clear of attackers or generate a defensive 'wall' of tokens.
Autothrusters + Stealth just works well. The value of the stealth device depends on how many attacks you can dodge before you finally get hit - which means it's more valuable on an especially evasive platform (like the squint).
Turr Phenir and Carnor Jax also have especially good pilot abilities - I'd recommend getting at least one of them.

Thanks all. I ended up going 2-1 last night. My only loss was to Fat Han and Corran and honestly it might have been different if I was able to evade anything in that game. He was one shotting me with Han. My dice just failed.

Don't feel too bad. That list is built to make those dice fail. Han w/Gunner has the luxury of rolling two attacks with a very good likelihood of eating up your tokens, and busting a stealth-device. Likewise Corran Horn double-tap when arc allows means a bad turn for Interceptors. I wouldn't call it a hard-counter, per se... but that list has the shots and rerolls needed to get through Soontir-cheese, etc... :-p

I've had fun running this:
Soontir w/ PTL
2x Royal Guard pilots
Saber Squadron Pilot w/ VI (I don't have the cards to run 3x Royal Guard pilots, but this costs the same and has the same overall effect).
This is sitting at 96 points right now, but I could probably come down to one of the other pilots (or even a 4th RG pilot) and spend those points on stealth devices/autothrusters.
My next list I want to try is this, just for funsies:
Echo: VI, Stygium particle accelerator.
Turr Phenir: Royal Guard title, PtL, autothrusters, stealth device.
Tetran Cowall: Royal Guard title, PtL, autothrusters, stealth device.
Comes out to 98 points, but this one is essentially playing hide and seek with whatever other ships are floating around out there. Lots of repositioning/movement shenanigans, we'll find out how it goes tomorrow night.

Trip report: it went not well. Echo got blocked in the central scrum before it could re-cloak, and ended up at range 1 of a K-Wing and 2 A-Wings My 2 interceptors managed to kill off an A-wing and maul the K-wing before getting blown up, at least...the last one died to a bomb that my opponent dropped straight in his face. That was my first time out with a phantom, so it was a learning experience.

The Phantom is fun once you get the hang of it, just takes a game or two. I've learned to set it up away from your other ships so it has to move around like it supposed to. If its in the middle of enemy ships, its effectiveness is lost.

Yep.
Named Phantoms don't belong in the furball. They're most effective as flankers where they can either attack unchallenged or force your opponent to split and engage them.
Also, named Phantoms with VI need Advanced Cloaking Device. Echo needs it even more to take advantage of his pilot ability and to leave your opponent guessing where he'll end up. SPA is better served on generic Phantoms who use decloaking and cloaking for blocking.

There is plenty of point in double focusing... it's called Twin Laser Turret and they are everywhere!
