The rhino was destroyed and I had plans to use it as decoration, but when I bought the trukk boys I just had to convert it.

Why thin out the paint? I'm new to painting.

Hey I can tell you're new to painting, great job! You're obviously very creative, you've done some interesting things with these Orks, giving them red skin, and giving some of them face-paint, things like that. Great job, keep it up! I would tell you that probably the first technique you want to learn is called DRYBRUSHING. Basically this is a very simple method of highlighting. It works really especially well on Orks because it highlights the muscles, and the folds of their pants, the details on the guns and their shoes. The basic idea is that you drybrush with a lighter shade of whatever color you started with. So for example because your Orks have red skin, you'd probably drybrush the skin with a dark orange color.

[EDIT I won't go into an explanation of how to drybrush, it would be much simpler to tell you to look it up on YouTube and watch somebody do it. It's really easy!]

Other than that, keep it up, welcome to the hobby!

I also really liked your conversion of the Rhino, how one of the tank treads was broken on one side, and you replaced it with a wheel. Having a tank with a wheel on one side and tank treads on the other is very ORKY, I thought that was a great job.
