I just bought a Tau Riptide. A reason I got it is I loved the colour of it being white. So I am putting it together. I am scouring the internet for some ideas and tips of putting it together. What I saw was the on the cover the Riptide is brown not white like mine. So is this a repackaged? Just curious that is all. Never seen them in white like this before or I might have started collecting them ages ago.

This has been the color scheme of the Tau army on all of the packaging since they were first released in 2001.

It wasn't meant to be a "new box" but rather an alternative box for the holiday season.

A large number of the big models(Wraithknight, Riptide, Imperial Knight, the giant Necron Obelisk Vault thingamajigger, and the Gorkanaut/Morkanaut) got boxes that showcased different color schemes and alternate builds.
