So I do want to try a little of AOS, mostly because I still want to paint some stuff and due that I can make a full cavalry Orc army. Does anybody know what round base sizes Orcs use? Like their spiders, boar boys and the goblin bigboss on giant spider. Got no clue what to do. And does anybody know how feeble that Bigboss on Giant Spider is? It's Finecast/resin... Pretty scared to buy it.

Poor ignorant guardsmen, it be but one of many of the great miracles of the Emperor! The Emperor is magic, like Harry Potter, but more magic! A most real and true SPACE WIZARD! And for the last time... I'm not a space plumber.

I would put regular orcs on 32mm round.

Spiders on the smallest ovals, 60 x 35mm or something like that.

Boars probably on the smallest ovals too - the small ovals are basically a tiny bit bigger than the current cavalry bases, so whatever was on a cavalry base can go on them.

Boss on giant spider probably 60mm or 50mm round I'd guess but don't have one in person to look at.

If you're playing AoS, then optimally put them on the smallest base you can. The base is not used in the rules, so it just gets in the way. If the base is too big other players will be putting their guys on top of it to get into "model to model" contact, which could damage any work you put into the base.

Or, take a reasonable base size for the model (Orcs are pretty muscular, so 32mm would look good), and ask your opponent if you can measure from base to base. Doesn't really matter either way, as long as you don't put a goblin on a 50mm base.
