I was just on Copplestone's site and noticed several new WWII and interwar tanks and armored cars.
Not sure when he posted them but I check his site every few months and most of them are new to me at least and no doubt to 99% of Dakkites.
Interwar tanks for me were always the most interesting visually. It was a time when there was no consensus on what a tank would do or what it would look like so there was a lot of experimentation with multiple turrets, tread design and the like.
These are the tanks that inspired the design of most of GW's Imperial line so there is a lot of potential here for 40k players along with historical and steampunk players. They tempt me to start an Ork army. And of course Mark Copplestone was one of the original sculptors for 40k.

I really want to use the mark 3 Vickers as a Leman Russ.
And the front turrets actually make more sense than the side sponsons.

Not sure how many of those are new but some definitely are. I think Copplestone is probably one of my favorites for the eras that they cover. Their sci-fi is a bit chunky but for pulp I think it adds charm
The vehicles seem to be properly scaled to 28mm and not blown up to 1/35 or whatever.. I think that alone earns them some rep from me.

Yes, his figures run a bit small maybe 25mm but generally these are scalled right.

I like the Vickers Medium MkII. I see the Mk VIII is modelled to look like the one in Indiana Jones, which is a nice touch.

His figs are heroic 28mm actually. I've got a ton of Copplestone figs. So they're a little bit bigger than, say, Perry, but a little bit smaller than Catachans.

Wee bit of necro but North Star is apparently going to take over distribution of Copplestone.
https://www.facebook.com/northstarmilitaryfigures/?fref=ts
We are planning to have the new Copplestone castings website running for the 14th of March. There will be plenty of special offers, and a free exclusive miniature to celebrate our new partnership.

The North Star partnership means Copplestone will be free to focus on design. I briefly collected his 15 mm fantasy range, but I began to lose interest when he stopped making new releases. So this is great news, hopefully he'll be releasing his 15 mm fantasy Romans soon.

Couldn't agree more... I have some of his wonderful 15mm fantasy but I sidelined further work when releases stalled. I spoke to him a couple of years ago and he was talking about Roman like fantasy humans (southerners) and Celtic elves....I'm not sure if that's still the case? Come to think of it the Celtic elves may have been my suggestion...

Celtic elves is a great idea, and not entirely unlikely, his Norse, Germanic and/or Anglo-Saxon dwarves considered.
His Northlanders and Barbarians are sort of Celts though, aren't they? I suppose we could differentiate between 'low' and 'high' Celtic. But then there's the Northlander riding an elk, I'm guessing that makes him Norwegian?

Got the Copplestone newsletter today. It says among other things:
LAST ORDERS, PLEASE!
Today's the last day we'll be taking orders through our existing site. You'll see that some things are out of stock, but most codes are still available in small quantities.
OUR NEW WEBSITE
At some point this week the our site will open as part of North Star Military Miniatures so you'll be able to choose from our full range as well as from miniatures and games from lots of different companies, all at the same time.
LIMITED EDITION MINIATURE
I've just made a limited edition Road Warrior miniature that be will available from North Star very soon. Sign up for the North Star newsletter to find out more.

1/55TH VEHICLES
North Star won't be taking our range of 1/55th vehicles - these models were all made by Richard Kemp who'll be selling them through his own company, HLBS.
FUTURE PLANS
The plan is for me to make regular new releases for existing Copplestone Castings ranges (initially 10mm or 15mm fantasy) and start work on a couple of new projects. One of these will be a 28mm fantasy range and the other will be a quirky 30mm toy soldier range called Little Interwars.
Definitely good news for those of us interested in collecting his 15mm range. Looks like he'll finally release his long awaited 15mm Barbarica Romans, his 15mm halflings, etc.

And on the flip side...

Okay!! Here it is.
Copplestone Castings is now part of North Star, and here is the new website. Mark Copplestone still owns the company, he will be designing future new releases but the day to day running will now be done from Nottingham.
To celebrate the launch, we've put all the packs on a special offer price for 10 days only, and every order over £25 will receive a free new figure of 'The Road Warrior' (limited to one per customer).
http://copp.northstarfigures.com/index.php
Every order that is over £25 on Copplestone Castings gets a Road Warrior free, one per customer.
Welcome to Copplestone Castings
Since I first started Copplestone Castings I've followed my changing interests (some would say whims) through the burning sands of the Gobi Desert to the dark forests of the Northlands, via the subterranean bases of evil masterminds, and sculpted an eclectic range of miniatures, mostly 28mm but with some 10mm and 15mm fantasy too.
Now these ranges are being looked after here at North Star and at last I'll have more time to add new miniatures to them.
Regards
Mark Copplestone

From Northstar Facebook
Okay, we're officially 'overwhelmed'. The number of orders for Copplestone Castings has exceeded the stock we prepared for the initial launch, and we've got a holiday weekend coming up. There may be a delay in receiving your order, but we're working on it, so bear with us. If you want to take advantage of the launch sale, still go for it, but expect a 7-10 day delay before we ship it out. 'Course you could be lucky, order the stuff that's still on the shelf and get it in a couple of days!!
