I hope this is not too bad thread necro, but what do people think about the following squadron:

3X Reductor artillery tanks, 3x Medusa siege guns, 3x Siege Plating, 3x Machine Spirits.

Then run around using them more as assault guns than stationary artillery, since now they can fire their guns regardless of crew stunned/shaken and speed moved?

I've used regular medusas with my Death Guard in the same role with good effect.

No such thing as necromancy when the ordo reductor is involved - the thread may be in a 'lorica thallax' now but it's still alive!

Thats exactly where i'm heading with the medusa guns - i wonder if a machine spirit is the first 'auto-include' for this unit for the firing while shaken/stunned thing?

Nah, i wouldn't call them cheap but 155 each is good for a laugh.

I think that a wall of them with a macrocarid explorator or minotaur on either end has some merit - protecting that AV10 side armour.

Maybe back them up with a line of Scyllax to cover the rears with a cheap magos with an augury scanner and a fruity weapon to have a shot at the inevitable deepstriking enemy?
