Good afternoon, Dakka!

One thing you should know about me is that I get bored in class somewhat often. When I get bored, I tend to draw. And inevitably, my love of the 40k universe ends up showing up in my work.
I have always been interested in the background of the SoB, and have considered modelling a few Sisters for fun. However, I dislike the style of armor on the current models for a variety of reasons. In response, I came up with this sketch of a different style of Sisters power armor.

A few design clarifications: Order symbol would go on the wearer's right pauldron, the sleeves have been replaced by hanging veils of sorts, and the torso curves to the sides like the Scions torsos.
The sketch itself is nothing spectacular, but I would appreciate any feedback and critiques about the design.
Thanks a bunch!

More or less yes...Great, we've gone from cheap resin substitutes to weapons banned by the geneva convention...

Not being too familiar with the Adepta Sororitas armor, I'd say it looks pretty similar, only less Gothic and more streamlined practicality. The chest piece is certainly an improvement in terms of realism.

I'd definitely be interested in seeing some of these sculpted

A pretty straight forward basis for conversions could be based on the Valkyr power armor being put out by Dream Forge...

You say that I am crazy. I say that you are right!

I'm looking to keep this based on GW models in the event that I decide to participate in a sponsored event (highly unlikely, but still). I was thinking of using male Kabalite Warrior torsos for this, as the proportions aren't bad and they would give me more freedom to work than the female torsos. The legs would probably be snagged for use as well.

Thanks for the input. The chest piece was one of my major gripes with the original armor, so I went for a more practical yet still somewhat feminine look. I'm definitely hoping to get a test mini done sometime soon. A small parts order is on the way for a couple small projects, so I'll probably be doing a test sculpt in the next week or two.

Sometime in the next week or two, ideally. Going to need some sculpting practice before I can make it to my satisfaction, though.
