as I am saddened to hear fantasy maybe dying in the miniature wargame department (Unless a lot of people still play it) thus I am keen to move to kings of war with my legions of chaos army as I have stated before I found the lists I want to use but what I want to know now is how is it performing out there in terms of popularity?

There's a "Kings of War Australia" group on Facebook with a lot of people in it, there's a guy up in Brisbane who goes around giving a lot of demos and seems to be doing well, there's going to be a KoW tournament at CanCon, and down here in Adelaide I'm going to a ~10 person tournament at Group North end of November.

The group is pretty active, worth joining it seeing what's going on imo

It's getting much more popular. I think it only missed out on being included in Cancon due to the organiser missing the deadline for submissions, but the FB group and other Aus forums have burst over the past month or so with new members and people playing.

The galaxy is littered with the single-planet graveyards of civilisations which made the economically sensible decision not to explore space.

Edit - actually it looks like KoW *is* foing to be at Cancon.

Yep and numbers are looking very good with alot of old 'retired' wfb players coming out of the woodwork who are loving the game.

The cancon organizer is hoping to get close to 50 kow players, some think he will get that easily
