So new to Nids but decided to put an army together for fun. Not super competitive but don't want to get my butt handed to me every game as well. Please look this list over comments suggestions, is it even legal and any advice for nids would be greatly appreciated.
hive tyrant (wings, 2x devourers, esg)
rippers with deepstrike
venomthrope
hive crone
spore mines
Tyrannofex with rupture cannon, electroshock grubs and regeneration
Tyrannofex with rupture cannon, electroshock grubs and regeneration
Sky blight
hive tyrant (wings, 2x devourers, esg)
hive crone
2x harpy
3x 10 gargoyles
Currently 1831 so what would I add to get it to 1850

It's not a bad design, I'd suggest two winged Tyrants in the CAD, and putting more Synapse in there as well.

You need another Troops selection, and I would advise running the acid spray on the Tyrannofexes. Ignores cover is great. Automatically Appended Next Post: If you drop Regen on both as well, that frees up a lot of points, you could use for extra troops.

Add some Zoanthopes. I personally like using Warriors for Synapse that is Objective Secured.
So....
Winged Tyrant, twin Brain leeches, Electro bugs
The same
Zoanthrope
Zoanthrope
Venothrope
Warrior Brood, x3, Cannon. 100
The same
Then add the Skyblight, and add as points allow. I'd want a Mawloc myself.

Looks decent, Regen is usually wasted points, but a Tyranofex might live long enough to use it...one "issue" to consider is you have gargoyles outside the formation, that will make it hard to keep track of who is who.
