Is there anything special or different in this codex than the standard Space Marine codex?

I don't think so. I think your talking about the LE that was released alongside it?

There is a campaign book coming out sometime soon that features the raven guard and has formations and a detachment specifically for them.

Yeah, the SM codex.... Was it a special cover? That was the only woopty do thing making it "Raven Guard?"

If it's the current then it's just the cover.

You did not get special rules, no. Just what is in the normal Space Marine Codex. The LE included:

The full-colour, 160 page Codex: Space Marines with exclusive artwork of the chosen chapter
A 36 Tactical Objective cards set
6 metal Tactical Objective markers
8 armour cards detailing each mark of armour
104 page softback booklet with Successor Chapter line drawings

Nice. What was the cost of it when it came out?

The price was $180 I believe.

Look at the actual book cover on the right there. There's an Ultima symbol at the bottom of the podium, and the original artwork is for an Ultramarine.

Of course, now that I look closer, I Think that's the Successor chapter book...

I just posted the first LE book with the extra bits I could find, dude. They all have the same bits, just different covers....

Is the collectors the current edition codex/rules?
