The ork deffkopta springs to mind. Which is infuriating because we did get an updated model in Assault on Black Reach, but it was never released separately.

The Warbuggy and the Wartrakk are also starting to show their age, particularly with the ork drivers and gunners. The models are fine, but the could be better.

The big gunz kits look crude next to our new guns. While I would like these to be made shiny and new, I don't want the absurd mek gun price tag. Maybe they should be left as is?

These need an immediate resculpt along with rules so that I can truly field the Mad Max army.

Eldar warp spiders and shining spears.

They've had the EXACT same sculpts since their incept in 2nd edition (spiders) and late 3rd. EVERY other aspect has had multiple do-overs in that time.

Dire Avengers got redone each edition.
So did Banshees, scorpions and even dark reapers have had 4 different sculpts since their incept.

Warp Spiders suffer from looking really cool but having strictly limited poses and early 90's sculpt quality, yeah.

Oh, and a badly written warp jump loophole, but that's neither here nor there.

Tbh I think the basic cadian kits needs upgrading... it's simply not great quality, like when it was released.

Also the Catachan range is mostly fine, bar yet again normal guardsmen.... who are possibly one of the oldest plastic kits in 40k now. Think they came out in '97? Defiantly by '98.

SM could use an Honour guard kit update. You know... one without Smurf logos everywhere... Also, according to how the banner is painted, theres a banner bearer inside the banner...

I think with Chaos Space Marines it would be easier to list what should not have to be updated.

I agree if this game needs anything its more options for Space Marines.

if you want to build honor guard kit bash them from the vanguard and sternguard sprues. we don't need more marine kits and this is coming from a marine player.

Thing is it's just Calgar's box, I'd rather him be separate from the set in that termie armour but meh.

Loyalist players can whine all they want about supposedly "needing" yet more new kits, but have no leg to stand on. It's time to let the most neglected & fugly model line available in-store get some love for once!

The Banner of Macragge is a lot simpler then that, and well described in (old) fluff.

On topic: The SM bikes are quite dated.

I actually like the sculpts, but they do need an update, as they are some of the few GW models that are still metal. Most other metal models got updated to Finecrap at least!

Exalted for truth, although you should add the Dinobots and Hellturkey to models that don't need a new kit (I know many hate the Heldrake, but I like it).

One thing that needs a plastic kit instead of Finecrap is Khorne Flesh Hounds for Chaos Daemon/Khorne Daemonkin players. The current hounds are not that cool looking and you are stuck paying $50 for 5 of them, in Finecrap.

Tau have a lot of stuff that needs updated, but they are actually getting it this month, so I won't actually list their stuff.

Crisis suits are getting an update

I would love to see the inquisition get some new models. As far as a whole range goes they are as old as SOB.

They're not. The Inquisition stuff came out in 2003 with the Daemonhunters and Witch Hunters codexes. The bulk of the SoB range came out in 1997.

I was under the impression that sisters got some models when those books came out as well?

I'd love a plastic inquisitor kit though. It has so many weapons and options that have no real models. Be nice to have it not be codex kitbash.

Possessed aren't THAT horrible overall... They tend to look god awful in the 'Eavy Metal paint jobs sure, but on the whole, the models can be made to look up to par with most of the newer kits.
Besides, we need at the very least proper kits for Chaos Marines + Havocs + Chosen + Terminator that are also functional and offer up our basic upgrade options - something ALL our infantry kits bar the Warptalons/Raptors currently lack!

Once we have our bread and butter kits that can actually build viable squads instead of random garbage, then we can beg for more grimdark(tm) looking Possessed.

I feel Dante needs an update. As a Chapter Master he looks a bit dimunitive (especially when you place him next to some Sanguinary Guard) – unless he's actually getting an update I guess I'll have to kitbash that free StormCast Eternal =D

Obliterators and mutilators are by far the worst models I have ever seen and just wish they would make new ones that didn't look so hideous. just my 2c

trazyn the infinite, servitors and arco flagelants deamonhosts, drahzar, the biovore and red terror, those are just the ones of the top of my head...

It's not really VITAL, but I really wish they would fix the number on the Ultramarines Chapter Banner, it has a III instead of an XIII..

Still waiting for the SOB plastic kits...
