Not my greatest work but much better than that bone white colour! And as a plus it it matches my Decimator much better!

That looks awesome! Gonna have to have a go when I pick one up. As an aside, good to know the wings fold down or up. It doesn't mention that on the box as far as I could see.

Hopefully your FLGS doesn't have any of the first batch Lambdas hanging around

Why's that? It didn't originally have that feature? How can I tell the difference?

There was a problem with the first batch (and it may still exist, the OP might have just fixed theirs) where something wasn't shaped right internally and you couldn't get the wings to fold down all the way. It's apparently fairly simple to open it up and cut out the tiny piece that blocks the wings, so maybe FFG just fixed it on later batches. Unfortunately there's no way AFAIK to know until you open the box and test the model.

There is no such thing as a hobby without politics. "Leave politics at the door" is itself a political statement, an endorsement of the status quo and an attempt to silence dissenting voices.

Some of the first print shuttles had problems lowering their wings to below horizontal.

Good paint job. The framer in me weeps at the state of the frame underneath, but the shuttle looks ace.

I don't think there was anything physically wrong with the first batch (I got mine pretty early after release, although the UK in general might have been behind). The paint application and assembly made them awfully stiff, and you need to be careful how you grip the wings when you move them, that's all.
