Take any vehicle, give it -1 AV everywhere, BS2 and Ramshackle and it's transport capacity is however much you can fit in/on it.
This mean gak like Stalkers can be looted and given a capacity

Also if a looted vehicle is painted a red colour, it gets D6+2" extra movement, but if you use this you snap fire but doesn't count as flat-out.

Poor idea as it stands, needs refining. Otherwise there's nothing stopping me just putting a 12" square platform on the fastest vehicle in the game and just piling all my models on it.

I'm sorta for this, then the AM can boast that their lasers can glance a AV9 Venom to death.

At the same time, it needs a bit more work into it.

Yeah, no offense but this is a far cry from what Orks want in terms of customizability. It should be a kind of build-a-tank workshop like this:

Looted Tank: 30 points

Unit Type: Tank, Open-Topped, Transport (12 models)

Front: AV11 Side: AV11 Rear: AV10

Special Rules:

Don't Press Dat!

Ramshackle: Has a 5+ invulnerable save against all attacks except those with the Armourbane, Destroyer and Ordnance rules.

Options:

- You may add include up to two more Looted Tanks for 30 points each.

- Any Looted Tank may take the Grot Gunnas upgrade for 15 points (+1BS)

- Any Looted Tank may pay 15 points to increase the AV of the front or side by 1. This upgrade can be taken multiple times but the AV of the tank cannot exceed the maximum of AV13 on the sides or front.

- All Looted Tanks in the unit may upgrade to become a skimmer for 40 points each. This may not be taken with heavy vehicle upgrade. Taking this upgrade also limits the tank's AV maximum on the front and side to 12 rather than 13.

- All Looted Tanks in the unit may upgrade to become Fast vehicles for 15 points each. May not be taken with the heavy vehicle upgrade.

- All Looted Tanks in the unit may upgrade to become Heavy vehicles for 15 points each. May not be taken with the skimmer or fast vehicle upgrade.

Then open up the usual options for the Ork vehicle upgrade table. Allow up to maybe 4 of the usual weapon options of skorchas, rokkits, and big shootas. Keep the Killkannon for 30 points but also bring back the Boomgun for 45 points or allow it take some of the new Big Gunz on it.

I kind of like the idea of Orks having several chassis options representing "Size" so to speak:

Trukks, Gunwagons, and Battlewagons.

Rather than having a "Looted Wagon" option, with a "Don't Press Dat" or other similar shenanigans, Orks have the option to buy Looted Gubbinz for their vehicles. They allow unusual powers or abilities, but are *very* accident-prone, in a way that would make the Skaven proud.

In addition to weapons, you'd have items like: "Floaty Bitz" (the vehicle can move like a Skimmer, but has a chance of falling out of the sky), "Sparky Ram" (The Shock Prow from Dark Eldar), etc.
