The new Tau stuff is pretty dope. The Ghostkeels can do a lot of what the Y'Havara can do with more durability. That being said, it is in no way a bad unit and also does synergize well with Ghostkeels.

I don't agree with this.

A Y'vahra can destroy a vehicle in one salvo, burn a squad of terminators in one salvo and move 24"+2d6" in one turn. A ghostkeel cannot do any of those, unless:
- is picked in the OSC formation
- fires the blast at a cramped unit of terminators (and not scatter)

A Ghostkeel cannot match Y'vahra's maneuverability, nor run from combat (it can't grab VRT). What Ghostkeel does better? Be a fire magnet. For a bit more than half the Y'vahra's price, you can get 2 stock Ghostkeels - which can advance and create all sort of problems.
But to destroy vehicles and TEQs? Not even close to a Y'vahra.

Y'vahra eats vehicles alive. Its kinda sickening how fast that thing devours even a Monolith. The fact that its 1 less wound than a Riptide and slightly more expensive is moot.

Its a unique role in our army. Nothing does the same thing the Y'vahra does, its extremely in your face and fast as hell.

If you want to get one, go for it. I wouldnt use it in friendly games though because it can seriously make enemies. I proxied it in a few times and i felt like a dick using it lol its so damn strong.
