I am about to start painting my Infinity Nomads. Most of my existing Citadel paints will prove useless, as I used very different colours for my Tyranids, so I decided to use this as a chance to try out the Vallejo range. I use a regular bush, no airbrushing, and paint to play not for display, so Vallejo Game Colour seemed the range to use. Whenever possible, I will use my existing paints to save money, but I will need new paints for most colours. The basic colour scheme I plan to use is like in the concept art here. The main colours are red armoured parts, dark red clothing, black edges, a few light grey bits, blue/green LEDs, skin and hair. By the fluff, the Corregidor citizens were originally from Africa and South America and often have unnatural hair colours, so I plan to make use of this. My basic plan is as follows.

I have a massive pile of Grey primer, so I plan to make use of this. I will then undercoat everything in either white or black, depending on what the final colour of that area will be. I was also thinking of undercoating the faces of men in black and women in white, hoping that makes the women's skin colour subtly lighter. All hair will be undercoated white, because I want bright colours here.

For the main body, I was thinking:

Do these sound like a good plan, or would you suggest I swap any of these paints for a different tint?

Seems to me like you have a solid plan ready.

When you say undercoat, you don't mean on bare plastic, do you?

You need to use a primer on plastic, vallejo make brush on primers
