Pretty sure you can't ally Codex orks and codex orks. Also, even if you can Allied detachments only have 1 HQ so list 3 doesn't work.

None of them, since Ork mobs of >20 WILL die without a transport.

Unless the new Tau are bizarrely different from the Tau of the last 3 years, my money is on list 3. Trukks are NOT good against tau: their ability to just grakkin' SPAM that S5 makes them not so hot.

My question: are you allowed to use FW/FW proxies in this game? If so i have a tweak that will make your list flipping G-Wrecksasaurus versus Tau.

Aw, dang. Gunwagons ruin tau.

Okay. Go list 3. However, if possible, I recommend dropping the nob unit out. Take those points, buy 3 painboys nd a minimum unit of tankbustas. The painboy will give your boys a save versus even a riptide in melee unless he uses his smash to kill a whopping one boy a turn.

I like to put my warboss in MA and with a unit of boys, because it makes them pretty immune to small-arms fire (something like 1 in 100 total bolter shots results in a wound or something crazy like that) but that's just a speed vs tuff choice. I also love to run Zhadsnark when I can, so it evens out.

I think it's a pretty sweet base list for tau (reduced units compensated for by the huge speed boost). Best chance I think is to eyeball, test, and fiddle.

List 3 is you best shot by overwhelming them with av14 and backing them into a corner. New tau is really good at killing 1 super tough unit a turn based on their new hunger cadre combined firepower rules. Having 5 targets they must take down by turn two will force some very hard target priority decisions which is exactly what you want. Tau also lack any kind of pyker defense so maybe weird boys could do some good. Just a thought...

thanks mate, i dont have a weirdboy unfortunaly... Getting my BW killed is fine by me, as long as i make it to his zone and force him to fight me in melee ! This is actually the only way ill give him some challenge... Moreover, having a good amount of troops his gonna help me to secured / contested an objectif.

Honestly if you really wanna win, just spam 11 Boyz with a PK Nob in Trukks, and Lootas. That will be a good list against any army. Then just stick a Warboss in one of the boy units and run 10 Boyz with a PK Nob (in a trukk of course). Just be sure to hide as many of your trukks as you can in case they go first. Then on your Turn 1 just move up 12, then flat out 12. Turn 2 everything should be within charging distance. Placement is what is gonna be key with this list though so be smart where you put your Trukks so that you can either completely hide them or at the very least obtain a cover save.
