So it comes out in roughly a week and was wondering what other people thought about BO3? As soon as I get it ill certainly be killing some zombie hordes.

I enjoyed it. I usually hate Call of Duty, But the newest one was a surprise.

I wasn't expecting it to be good or passable. Now we just have to wait for the storymode to be released.

Apparently the story mode is co operative with up to 4 people, I'm looking forward to that

The zombies are the only thing that interests me COD wise at all these days. My interest dropped off with the first Black Ops

There was the open beta for it earlier, but IIRC that was purely multiplayer. Even limited to that it would let people see if the mechanics are smooth or not, which is rather important seeing as how they are changing a decent amount of stuff. (It's like a toned down version of Advanced Warfare in that regard, from what I hear)

Beta and Toned Down??

These are words that may strike my interest back to COD. I liked the idea of AW but hear it was badly implemented.

I had much fun with claymores, C4 and dual wield P90 in MW2.

The beta was fun, but I was a little underwhelmed. I got to play about a third of the MP classes, each one having two abilities to pick from. There are obvious standouts, some are tons better than others. The guns seem a little more rounded than previous games. The 3 maps were neat, but quickly got repetitive. A few new game modes. You still have the exo suit, but the pseudo-flying from AW is toned way down. The controls are just as smooth as any other CoD. Water is a prevalent thing in some maps, you can both swim and shoot underwater. Killstreaks are fun but not over the top. I'm looking forward to zombies and coop story mode.

You could always red box it first to see if you like it.

Pre-ordered my copy and it should be arriving tomorrow. Really excited for this game. I love the Black Ops series.

Loving this game so far. Only have played part of the campaign. Haven't been sucked into a COD campaign this much since COD4: MW.
