Infiltration three squads of chosen (and a big blob of 20 using Huron)
What loadout should I go for? I'm tempted to run all plasmas so I can hit them from a longer range to support the blob turn one. What do you guys think?

I've toyed with this myself, and I use 6 man Chosen squads with 4 plasma guns each. One squad will get 4 meltaguns instead. It's been fun, just not overwhelmingly powerful.

I figure that plus the big blob of Slaanesh marines should be fun. My army would have very little in the way of AT, but would that much plasma be enough to disrupt that?

He was talking about Cypher's Chosen, not the codex ones.

Even then, only real difference is Cyphers Can infiltrate and I think they have ATSKNF but I could be wrong

This may be a very dumb question, but where in the dataslate does it say that the Chosen in the Fallen Champions formation can infiltrate? I know that Cypher himself has Infiltrate, but I read the formation page and didn't see it mentioned.

As for loadouts, I have had some success with 4x Plasmaguns w/Combiplasma. I was thinking of trying 4x Flamer next.

My armies (re-counted and updated on 11/7/24, including modeled wargear options):
Dark Angels: ~16000 Astra Militarum: ~1200 | Imperial Knights: ~2300 | Leagues of Votann: ~1300 | Tyranids: ~3400 | Stormcast Eternals: ~5000 | Kruleboyz: ~3500 | Lumineth Realm-Lords: ~700

Each unit gains infiltrate from the being part of Cyphers fallen angels. That's why people (albiet not many) take the formation

I go 3 meltas and 2 flamers in each squad... The champ loadout changes each time.... I've had success w/ claw/fist combo, but that starts to take a lot of points.

I love rolling with 2 squads and just ruining any termies day with 8 plasmas coming in from all sides with a sorc with balestar of mannon giving prescience no gets hots for me. plus loads of dead termies

Facts are chains that bind perception and fetter truth. For a man can remake the world if he has a dream and no facts to cloud his mind.

Why not go max plasma?
A 6 man squad can have 5 plasma guns and a combi-plasma.

I would like to, but I'm a little right for points with the list.

That's what I'm thinking of doing. Just wondering if it would be enough for light armor (not expecting av14).

How about the champion? Keep him mostly bare?

You think the claw/fist is worth it? I'd need to find more melt a guns

That many plasma guns will wreck light armor

Sternguard though, those guys are all about kicking ass. They'd chew bubble gum as well, but bubble gum is heretical. Only tau chew gum

Because every time a single guy dies, you'll be screaming at the loss of points. Just like people who take minimum Havoc squads do. A few points for extra wounds is well worth it if you're running that many terminator-costed marines.

It's called a thick skin. The Jersey born have it innately.
