If I click on the DakkaDakka icon in the top left normally it takes me to the "Dakka Blog" that shows recent images and posts. This doesn't seem to have updated since Saturday (31st Oct). Not sure if there's a problem, or if it's something my end.

I'm having the same problem too.

It does get stuck sometimes. Having a look at what I can do with my mod-powers, but it sometimes requires a lighting of the Lego-symbol.

It works for me at the moment using Chrome on a MacBook with MacOSX v10.7.5.

Sometimes it will stick, then unfreeze automatically within 24 hours. Thanks for letting me know!
