So I am getting this new HHBC boxed set, which will start me off on the 30k road...

I really like a black/orange color scheme, but wanted to keep it close to a Rogue Trader era (pre heresy) color scheme. Something with actual history and not my own chapter.

Besides Tiger Claws ( http://static1.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20120321004444/warhammer40k/images/c/c9/Tigers_Claws_Marine.jpg ) is there any other chapters that come to mind?

Rogue Trader =/= Pre-Heresy
There is no such thing as a "Pre-Heresy Chapter" as SM chapters didnt exist until Gulliman Divided the Legions after the HH as he didnt want it happening again.
But your best bet is Tiger Claws

Yah, if you want to go with a pre-heresy scheme there are only 18 schemes, one for each legion, chapters came after the heresy where a million schemes were spawned.

And if so probably the closes I can think to those colors are Word Bearers and Thousand Sons

For the sake of completeness, there were more schemes than that but they predate the recovery of the primarchs, let alone mk iv armour. The dusk raiders wore red on their right gauntlet before Mortarion was found, for example.

Or just state it's a certain company of the legion allowed to wear personal heraldy of their captain similar to what Sigmund got. So so equipment imperial fists with bit of tiger Claws theme implemented.

I personally run mine 30k's as 405th imperial fist company with crimson fist heraldy.
