Hey everyone! I looked up the Sororitas on this index, and there was somebody working on a formation detachment for Sisters but seems they lost interest. SO! Here's my take on it. I might be going a little strong on formation perks, but I'm trying to take an older, lower tier dex and be able to toe to toe with the likes of current Space Marines and Eldar. Though on some formations I feel I MAY have gone too far. Regardless, take a gander and lemme know what you guys think.

A few things:
Free wargear/transports make me itch. I know, I know, Marines got it, but I don't like it there either. That said, I'm hard-pressed to figure out what else to give them, here.
A slight amendment to the overall formation benefit: Word it as "improve their invulnerable save by 1", perhaps? This means that Uriah Jacobus' fixed warlord trait is still useful (and likewise if you roll it on a Canoness), and also, a Canoness with a Rosarius would now have a 3++. That's powerful, to be sure, but not any worse than a Captain with a Storm Shield, and those, or their equivalent, are available in every Astartes Codex... Now, if she was your warlord and lucked into that trait, sure, she'd have a 2+. Ever fought an Archon? Well, you now know why that does not worry me.
Purge Squadron: the Melta Lance firing mode should probably have both Melta and Lance, belike? Also possibly Ordnance 1 instead of Heavy 1.
Cult of Repentance: Maybe this is a little too much, but +3" to Move and Charge and Crusader? This would mitigate the fact that Repentia are nigh unto useless without an allied Land Raider or Stormraven to stuff them into.
As for the Wrath From On High formation, the benefits need some rethinking: Angelic Visage lets the Seraphim re-roll their Shield of Faith save anyway, so this mostly just affects Celestine's 4++. Also, they have an AoF for Shred anyway, and as an IC, Celestine can join one squad and share their AoF's benefit. Maybe make it so that their AoF gives them Shred in the Assault Phase as well?
Exorcist Choir: What about this - the Exorcist Missile Launcher fires d3+3 shots instead of d6, and becomes Ordnance instead of Heavy? I'd be tempted to give them Preferred Enemy (Vehicles and Monstrous Creatures) too, but maybe that's gilding the lily.

Good ideas, I should clarify that the bonus to invulns was meant only to apply to shield of Faith invulns. Not a rosarius. For shred on the seraphim, my goal there is to let them use it twice as they can't take a simulacrum. You think I should tack Lance onto a beam attack with melta? Potent. Potent indeed. Not saying no to that. Just seems mighty mighty.

Well, it *is* powerful, but it's a single shot (albeit a beam), and you have to take three Retributor squads to get it, which you're fighting to tuck into 2000 points by the time you kit out the core formation, really. Plus, since that's Melta, not Armourbane, you've gotta get close to make the most of it. Lance at least lets it threaten a Monolith sitting at the limit of its range without just fishing for a 6 (and then only removing one hull point if you get one...)

Taken into consideration. So back to the core formation. Opinions there? Because other than "free swag" and for the dominions free transports I'm stuck.

Maybe this - Battle Sister squads that are a part of this formation, joined by Priests from this formation, gain +1 to their Weapon Skill and Ballistic Skill for as long as the Priest is alive. Priests within 12" of the Canoness or the Command Squad may re-roll Leadership tests to activate War Hymns.
For Witch Chasers: Non-vehicle units from this formation gain Stealth and Shrouded until they move, run, shoot or charge. Krak Grenades used by units from this formation, either at range or in melee, have Rending.

That kind of makes Witch Chasers relatively worthless as a formation. Particularly as due to them having scout, putting them in a transport is borderline mandatory to make the most of them. And with melta guns, they'll have to move to catch up to anything worth shooting anyways. Just doesn't seem like it'll actually help it.
Now for the Battle Sister Squads, the +1 to BS is nice. Couples with their act of faith to basically just be BS10 though. Idk if that might be a little too much? A few free guns might ruffle less feathers than "we almost never miss"

Oh, I see what you mean with the Witch Chasers... Hmm. I was originally thinking to give them Stealth and Shrouded turn 1 so they don't get shot off the table in the first turn, when they might not be able to get in range and still fire anyway (like say, if you're going second, especially if you get seized). Makes more sense in retrospect without the non-vehicle stipulation - it's hard to abuse and it's not like the vehicles can get away without moving anyway.
I think the hyper-accurate Battle Sister Squads shouldn't be too much of a hassle, balance-wise. Most of that fire is bolters, anyway. Granted, it makes the meltas or multi-meltas scary, but that's something of a given anyway. It also creates a strong incentive for an opponent to snipe out the Simulacrum Imperialis or the Priest. Not like Priests are exceptionally resilient, after all. Sure, they shrug off lascannons 50% of the time, but say, massed lasguns will ruin their whole day.

Won't the Dominions lose their Stealth and Shrouded instantly because Scouting is a move?

The intent would be not to - but Scout is a redeployment, not a move, isn't it? I mean, you can scout, and then still move in the Movement phase of your first turn, or fire as if you had not moved, no?
Phrasing would need some work, either way then. The intent is that you would be strongly protected from shooting until you take some kind of aggressive action, but *not* be protected the whole game. Dominions are expensive enough that losing them before they get to fire really hurts, so that's what I want to shield against. (Though, Repressors do that fairly nicely, since there are enough fire points to shoot everything out of...)

Furyou, Scout used to be movement, hence the reason why scouting vehicles could pop smoke. GW changed Scout to be redeployment, so anything that scouts hasn't moved yet.

Greebo had spent an irritating two minutes in that box. Technically, a cat locked in a box may be alive or it may be dead. You never know until you look. In fact, the mere act of opening the box will determine the state of the cat, although in this case there were three determinate states the cat could be in: these being Alive, Dead, and Bloody Furious.

Making some modifications based on the ideas put forward that I like. As I'm not sold on the increasing Battle Sisters WS or BS, or the stealth/shrouded on Dominions. Seems "free stuff" is a super common perk for Imperial armies. So, I'll just roll with it for now. Also, while I like making each Exorcist a d3+3, my idea was the tanks are each a part of a chorus and building up each others crescendos.

Aye, however it's heavy. So they can't very well roll on you and make that happen.
