I have a couple of questions about this:

1. Which droppers do I buy? Ebay link would be appreciated!

2. How do I thin the paints before transfer? I have Daler-Rowney Flow Enhancer, can I use that? How much? I assume it needs to be thinned with water before I pour it in? Or do I use some kind of medium?

15ml dropper bottles

They are fine, but you obviously get what you pay for. If you want really good bottles, warcolors sells his empty as well (from Cyprus)

In addition, you are going to want an agitator - avoid things like metal fishing sinkers or ball bearings. I personally used Stainless Steel nuts, but if they are poor quality, they will rust and ruin your paint. You also want some kind of funnel, I bought little steel ones from ebay to make it easier

My method was as follows;

1. empty pot into new bottle
2. add equal amounts of flo-aide and stop-dri to the pot
3. shake
4. pour the rest into the bottle
5. wipe out pot with old brush and get that into the bottle
6. peel label off and put on bottle (I also printed postage labels out, which was easier)

For the flo-aide/stop-dri, I mixed it with distilled water, as again you don't want funky tap water wrecking your paints.

The mix was something like 6 drops of each for bases, 4 each for layers, 2 each for glazes/washes

Yes I did, again with distilled water.

Warcolors droppers are exactly the same as the premier ones on eBay. I was buying them from him until I found out.
Just go for the mid-range cost on eBay.

Nice! I'm thinking 20ml could be a good idea to make sure I have room for flow improver etc... Or would 15ml be enough?

I have a preference for the droppers with the long, skinny nozzles over the ones that look like Vallejo droppers.

Also, I like the 2-part caps more than the single-part caps. They provide a much better seal.

These ones, in particular, I have bought and like quite a lot for transferring Citadel paints for the purpose of airbrushing.

15ml is usually plenty, none of mine got close to full

Buy some dressmakers pins as well, with the large heads. They're essential for unclogging droppers.

Squeeze it so it explodes over your palette, stand it upright and squeeze it again so you get all the air out, put it nozzle down in your paintsplosion and then gently release your grip to suck most of the paint back into the bottle. Then question as to how much paint you are really saving over the paint pot

Its a stainless steel pin that you use to lace up your turkey so that the stuffing inside doesn't fall out while it cooks. It s the perfect size for the dropper on Vallejo bottles.

Can't squeeze the gw pots is something of a barrier I'd guess.
