Nearest FLGS announced it will be hosting 8-man tournament in a few weeks.
Points value will be 2,000pts, with almost no restrictions whatsoever regarding lists.
The sole restriction is that players cannot use forgeworld armies/models.
In addition, players choose missions by rolling a d6 on maelstrom of war mission table.

Judging from the factions shown during the last tournaments held at the same shop, I expect to face Imperial Knights heavy armies,
Blood Angels, Draigo-Paladin star grey knights, Two demi-company lists spamming rhinos, Necrons, Hunter Contingent, flyer-heavy nids(4 tyrants probably),
and finally the typical eldar power list(multiple wraithknights & scatterbike spam).

Below is the most powerful list I can come up with at the moment, featuring hodgepodge alliance between codex : space marines and officio assassinorum

Primary Detachment : Gladius Strike Force(Codex : Space Marines)
Chapter Tactics : Iron Hands

Battle Demi-Company
Captain(Chapter Master, Power Fist, Bike, Auspex, Artificer Armour, Shield Eternal)
Command Squad(Bikes, 1xApothecary, 1xVeteran : Storm Shield, 2xVeteran : Power Fist & Storm Shield, 2xVeteran : 2xGrav Gun & 2xMelta Bomb)
Tactical Squad(Sergeant : Combi-Melta, 9xSpace Marine : Meltagun, Grav Cannon & Grav Amp, Drop Pod)
Tactical Squad(Sergeant : Combi-Melta, 4xSpace Marine : Meltagun, Drop Pod)
Tactical Squad(Sergeant : Combi-Grav, 4xSpace Marine : Grav Cannon & Grav Amp, Drop Pod)
Land Speeder(2xHeavy Bolter)
Centurion Devastator Squad(3xGrav Cannon & Grav Amp, 3xHurricane Bolter, 1xCenturion Sergeant : Omniscope, 2xCenturion)

Suppression Force
Land Speeder(Multi-Melta)
Whirldwind Squadron(2xWhirldwind)

Comnined Arms Detachment(Codex : Space Marines)
Chapter Tactics : Ultramarines

HQ
Tigurius

Troops
Scout Squad(Camo Cloak, 5xSniper Rifle, 1xScout Sergeant, 4xScout)
Tactical Squad(Sergeant : Combi-Melta, 4xSpace Marine : Meltagun)

Fast Attack
Drop Pod
Drop Pod

Officio Assassinorum Detachment

Elite
Culexus Assassin

Total : 2,000pts

As for the two empty fast attack drop pods, their passengers will vary from game to game.
Most of the time the ultramarine tactical squad and the centurion squad will embark on the drop pod, compensating for their short-ranged weaponry.
Against eldar with multiple jetbike units and farseers on jetbikes, the assassin will take the place instead of the tactical squad.

So far, I've used similar lists against eldar power list(although the list had "only" two wraithknights) and flyer heavy tyrants.
Fortunately, the results were satisfying(Draw against eldar, decisive victory against nid).
I'm not sure how it will perform against latest hunder contingent though.
Much feedback would be appreciated.

I was under the impression you couldn't make a Capra in in a BDC into a Chapter Master, as it then no longer meets the requirement. To take a CM, you need to take the Strike Force Command.

that makes no sense. It's the captain unit choice with an upgrade bought, not a different unit.

edit- in fact, it says nowhere that you can take a chapter master. The strike force command says the chapter master characters, like Pedro Cantor, but only lists Captain as an option, not chapter master.
