I am currently looking for strong glue that would hold my rather long barrel (made of paper) without breaking off, I don't want to use super glue cause it pain in the Axx, and it dangerous, one time the tube got corked up again, but when I managed to squeeze it out, i got it all over my hand, and after that, i swear not to use that stuff again, but UHU just not strong enough to hold that long barrel together.... would wood glue works?? or some epoxy glue?? any recommendation is appreciated!!
thank you

Anywhere you can use PVA/white glue... wood glue is a better choice. It's fine on paper.
Funnily enough, superglue is really good on paper. It does get hot while it's drying and it does soak through the paper.

You should never try to force superglue out. If it doesn't flow, it's because the nozzle is jammed up, and the only thing you'll accomplish by pushing harder is building up pressure so that when the obstruction is cleared, it all comes out as a gushing mess.
Use a pin to clear the head... also, I usually squeeze superglue onto a pad of paper, and use a toothpick to apply it more precisely.

UHU should be fine, you don't want to use PVA as it will warp the paper, it can take a while for some glues to set so just be patient. If it still won't hold then it may be an issue with the glue.

What's the difference? Wood glue is PVA glue, isn't it?

Thank you for all the advice, especially on the precaution with the superglue, will use a long pin next time round. UHU is strong for most cases, but for a long barrel that i have made, not good enough, wish have a pic to show how it broken, but since is finished(edit: i used superglue in the end and that how i got it all over my hand in the first place), so nothing to show sadly. Has anyone try epoxy glue?? would love to hear the result!!
thanks
