I've recently started using some Harlequins to go with my Dark Angels, and tonight i tried out the little formation with the solitaire, death jester, and shadowseer to support my Dark Angels army
due to my bad placement of them, the deathjester died turn 1, and then my shadowseer died to overwatch the next turn, which was sad. However, the solitaire, in combination with the Seed of Fear Interomancy power, turned out to be an incredibly awesome unit that ate an entire Immortals squad in one turn. (yay Int 10)
It seems that he can combo really well with just about everything my Dark Angels have, with interromancy being great when used against units he is attacking. Ravenwing is as mobile as him, so he can have some high speed help that is fairly durable and shooty, or assaulty in the case of black knights. I'm now also toying with the idea of some drop pod interomancy librarians to go with a few solitaire's when i finally get enough harlequins to run their detachment.
So my question is, what are some various uses for this awesome guy with my space monks?

Hmmm, I'm not really seeing why this combination is particular to the Solitaire rather than any other melee unit.
You also can't have "a few" Solitaires I'm afraid, as they are Unique.

Wait, I'm confused. Why use the solitaire rather than an Assassin? Are Eldar and imperium Allies of Convenience?
Seems like the Eversor, or maybe Callidus would be better here?

"Got you, Yugi! Your Rubric Marines can't fall back because I have declared the tertiary kaptaris ka'tah stance two, after the secondary dacatarai ka'tah last turn!"
"So you think, Kaiba! I declared my Thousand Sons the cult of Duplicity, which means all my psykers have access to the Sorcerous Facade power! Furthermore I will spend 8 Cabal Points to invoke Cabbalistic Focus, causing the rubrics to appear behind your custodes! The Vengeance for the Wronged and Sorcerous Fullisade stratagems along with the Malefic Maelstrom infernal pact evoked earlier in the command phase allows me to double their firepower, letting me wound on 2s and 3s!"
"you think it is you who has gotten me, yugi, but it is I who have gotten you! I declare the ever-vigilant stratagem to attack your rubrics with my custodes' ranged weapons, which with the new codex are now DAMAGE 2!!"
"...which leads you straight into my trap, Kaiba, you see I now declare the stratagem Implacable Automata, reducing all damage from your attacks by 1 and triggering my All is Dust special rule!" |

Check a detailed write up of using solitaires and leadership based attacks. Note this is written to combine with Deldar, but does go into some synergies with Interomancy, and more specifically covers lots of good uses for Solitaires with leadership debuffs

The Solitaire is faster, moving 12'' per turn with a once per game Blitz and is able to totally ignore terrain. The Solitaire is arguably more survivable in this formation, benefiting from both Stealth and Shrouded and a 3++ Save as well as Eternal Warrior (Do Assassins have Eternal Warrior?). The only thing the Eversor and Callidus do better is assured combot potential as the Solitaire needs 6's to reliably do damage. But considering the rest of the upgrades for a small increase in price, whenever you consider taking a melee assassin for melee purposes (Callidus reserve manipulations are very useful) a Solitaire is better in most cases.
As for tactics on using the formation the Mask of Sorrows sounds like it would have perfect synergy with Interomancy. A 12'' bubble of -2 Ld, followed by Mind Mind worm followed by Psychic Shriek sounds like it would easily destroy any Riptide, the trouble is utilizing the 12'' range without getting her killed. It'll take practice, and if all else fails, keep her in 18 just to Shriek.

The solitaire is really mobile and can throw out a ton of attacks, along with fear. He is also a lot easier to hide behind terrain than any multi-model units.

First things first, solitaires are "unique" can can only have 1 per army,
2 Mask of secrets is a Shadow seer item, and cannot be purchased by anyone else
And 3 Eldar and Imperium are allies of convenience, psychic powers front m the DA would not affect the solitaire

Correct, but many of the abilities and powers used by these models do not benefit one another, they affect enemy models.
