I noticed that only the dismounted profiles appear to have a CCW on them. Am I right in assuming then that a model that is mounted on a bike can only engage in combat by using a short order to dismount, and then another to engage? And that it can't simply engage while mounted? Automatically Appended Next Post: Actually I think I have found the solution myself. The weapons are listed beneath the dismounted profile for the model but its actually just listed there as a footer to the entire segment [mounted and mounted] so I'm assuming I can use the weapons and such while mounted.. thats the only way it could make sense to me at least @.@

Yeah it does look that way, the formatting of the Knife and Molotok for example, is different from the formatting of the equipment which is specifically under each profile.

Yeah, for a moment there I was getting super concerned as I'm yet to actually play with my bikes yet, but if they had to dismount to use anything that would make them terribly underwhelming.

You don't NEED to have a ccw to declare cc.
(You just don't get the benefits of using one if you do).
You do NOT need to dismount in order to cc, either.
You may need to dismount to complete an objective due to base size issues otherwise, though.
You can cc whilst mounted. You can BS attack whilst mounted.

Just clarifying, http://wiki.infinitythegame.com/en/CC_Attack_Declaration It states you either need a CCW, some form of equipment or skill capable of CC attacks to declare (as well as base contact).

Im aware of needing a CCW to do the CC attacks. my query was with the profiling. Having the weapons listed beneath both mounted and dismounted profiles rather then under each individually in the same way that skills were listed threw me off.

Technically speaking, everything can use bare handed attacks as a CCW.

Yup, they're a "weapon" everyone has, with normal ammunition! I know it's a rules conceit, but I find the idea of bare handed having a ammunition type great. That said, are there any models that can't make CC?

And by RAW (until N3HS) can't even use their electric pluse as that now needs a order/ ARO to use. I wouldn't stop someone from using it, they paid of it on their profile they should be able to use it. But, really who going to get in CC with something they can shoot with no fear of be shot back.

Bob: Outrageous, How dare he say such blasphemy. I've got to do something.

Bob: Well, I guess I'll just have to develop a sense of humor. |

True that Electric Pulse used to be automatic, but it becoming an ARO was a change made for the better.

Sure it is! It's right there on the table, a little metal thing. They really should have used a word other than "model" as a jargon word.

It'll probably be gone when the N3 HS book comes out. To answer your last question, I'd attack it in CC with a model who has CC >=20, to make sure I don't miss.
