How does one go about making one and knowing how big it need to be . my marines are black and red with white bases.
I like a a board that winter themed as my army back store is they been fighting on a snow planet think dune but with snow

It can really be however big or small you like, but the Armies on Parade competition requires a 2' x 2' board.

From what I've seen, 3' x 1.5' is common, but it depends on how many points you have, how big your army is, etc.

So I need to just find out how I want my guys to look on table find right spacing etc for all stuff which will probably be almost a 100marines and vechilcs

Yep. What I'd do is take a cookie sheet, piece of cardboard, etc. and arrange your models, then go from there.

I used hardboard and cut to size, used 2 layers. then used a hole drill bit sized in the upper layer to my infantry, and also my terminators. drew circles on where I wanted them and drilled each one. then just painted and built what I wanted with pink insulation foam. makes transporting them around easier without them tumbling over each other.

I got a typical cork bulletin board from a craft store, covered the cork area with glue and then basing grit, and drybrushed it a few shades of brown that were close to the shades of the bases on the models I was painting. Then I put some snow down. If it weren't for the paint and glue taking a while to dry, it wouldn't have taken long at all. The lip of the bulletin board served as a nice lip for the display board itself, and framed the models nicely.

I mak disploy bord wit sand nd glu wen I went to toirney and everone sed it was good But then I got home and relized that I cud make better if I had add some rocks and stuff so I glud the rockd and stuff to the disploy and it was defnitly better with the rocks and stuff so just glue sand and rocks and and stuff thenext ti.e to make disploy baord and it will look cool
