Let me know what you guys think. It's 1993 total points. I run the immortals with Tesla because I have had a lot of personal success in my meta with them. They've been able to take out almost a squad per turn of my opponents (IG/AM, Orks, SM). I've run this list at 1250 for a few weeks but am looking to branch into more serious gameply. All the tournaments in my area are 2k with no Super Heavies allowed. I haven't used the Annihilation Nexus yet and was wondering if other people have had success with them. Any useful suggestions are appreciated.

Reclamation Legion: 1253 pts
Overlord, Rez Orb, Staff of Light
10 Immortals, Tesla, w/ Night Scythe
10 Warriors w/ Ghost Ark
10 Warriors w/ Ghost Ark
14 Warriors w/ Night Scythe
3 Tomb Blades w/ Nebuloscope and Shield Vanes

Aux:
Annihilation Nexus: 410 pts
(2 AB w/ Gauss, 1 Doom Ark)

Canoptek Harvest: 330 pts
1 Spider w/ Fab Claw
3 Scarab Swarm
5 Wraiths w/ Whip Coils

I like the list run the same thing at mine erm I do have a suggestion though I run a cryptek with the staff of light in a 20 warrior squad with a chronometron. Give the overlord a warscythe. And command the other 14 ill make a list and yes the annihilation nexus is eff 3d6 on the doomsday ark put him in a ruin as you don't get jink due to the update he is a fire magnet those annihilation barges more expensive then they used to be but still very eff with tesla.

With it being a Decurion Legion, wouldn't the Cryptek then be redundant as you can't bring the RP below a 4+? Or would there be a different benefit other than points? I personally love those damn Rez Orbs.

You're correct. The only benefit would be the 5+ invul from chronometron. The only way the cryptek's +1 RP would become relevent is if the warriors are hit with an instant death weapon or a weapon with Str 8.

And besides... the only way to add a cryptek is to add the royal court formation.

The Annihilation Nexus is very underwhelming. It's cool for a fun game but it won't do well against competitive lists. I'd suggest just running another Harvest OR running the Doomscythe formation since you already have 2 fliers. Might as well try a flyer heavy list.

The annihilation nexus isn't ineffective it requires prioritisation I use it all the time and win a lot of games because of the nexus dealing a heavy blow to my opponents army.

Canoptek side of things just needs to spam RP and if you don't take royal court then fine but I like HQ heavy at 2000 points and they don't come bare bones.

I agree with Zimko. It could just be my unlucky rolling, but my annihilation Nexus always does next to nothing. With the single shot from the Doomsday Ark either missing or scattering, it's quite annoying. I'd never take it in a comp list.

Also if you wanted to easily take a Cryptek you could just run him in an allied detachment. But again, I'm not sure what reason there is to take a Cryptek? it really doesn't offer much here.

Only changes I'd make to this list other than dropping the Nexus is droping the 4 extra warriors from the night scythe unit and adding more Tomb Blades and warscythe on the warlord.

Its really gotta be bad rolling on your guys part as as mine take out a good chunk of forces.

I take tesla as they can sometimes take out a squad of 5 men (since this is a marine based game now) gauss I have enough of with 30 warriors and doomsday ark sponsons.

As for cryptek the only reason I'm saying put him in there is the solar staff is an amazing relic saved me from alot of shooting especially d scythes
